#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Post Malone - Circles (4 of 7 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Ed Sheeran - Afterglow (+9) taking the biggest jump this week. What a week for him! Now, I'm really hoping that this should be in the Top 20 very soon.
I'm not too thrilled to see BTS - Dynamite (-4) having the biggest drop this week. But I do know it's about to lose airplay on the pop radio charts, so yeah. This is going to be the end of it.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Justin Bieber - Anyone: This is definitely another outstanding song and this is definitely a step up from Lonely. Now, I've gone through my opinion on this one last week back when it debuted the countdown. The production here was so awesome, Justin's vocals were absolutely outstanding, the lyrics were super nice, and the chorus was so amazing. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.
All Time Low/Blackbear - Monsters: The best debut this week. And this was actually my #1 song of last year. Now, I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. Though Hits 1 did play the Demi Lovato remix of it. But they actually played the original version on there. Now, this is definitely an extremely heavenly song and this is definitely a huge step up from Some Kind Of Disaster. The production here sounded extremely heavenly, the vocals were extremely heavenly, Blackbear's vocals were extremely heavenly in his verse, the lyrics were extremely heavenly, the chorus was extremely heavenly, everything on this song was extremely heavenly. Let's see how far this gets.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Dua Lipa/DaBaby - Levitating: I actually thought this was actually going to be moving up this week. But I'm sure next week it'll do it.
4. Ava Max - Kings & Queens: I'm still waiting for this song to be back in the Top 3. But I'm not sure if it'll actually be back there, but I'm sure hoping it will be back here soon.
3. Justin Bieber/Chance The Rapper - Holy: I'm fine with this song still standing in that spot. But I do have a feeling that this might go to the top spot sometime soon.
2. 24kgoldn/Iann Dior - Mood: It dropped out of the top spot. Though it really did had an amazing run on there. But yeah, I don't think it's going to come back to the top spot. Maybe it might stand at that spot for a little while longer.
1. Ariana Grande - Positions: I'm super duper pleased to see this song at the top spot. Now, I'm sure hoping that it should stay in there for a few weeks longer at the very least. Let's see how long it could hold the spot.
Now, here are the songs they played for Breakouts/On The Verge:
Ashnikko - Daisy
