Dua Lipa (2) Week Of February 6, 2021
So we are now officially in the month of February. And restaurants and schools are back open. I hope everyone's been wearing their masks whenever there at school or in a restaurant. Also, the Super Bowl is this Sunday. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to be playing in this. Again, I'm hoping the Buccaneers should win it. And I'm also looking forward for The Weeknd's performance during the halftime show. Hopefully he does an amazing job on it. I'll have more information on that on my next countdown post. But for now, let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Post Malone - Circles (2nd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm fine with Chris Brown/Young Thug - Go Crazy and Pop Smoke - What You Know Bout Love (+8) tying for the biggest jump this week. I'll still give credit to that.
I'm not too thrilled to see Ariana Grande - Positions (-7) taking the biggest drop this week. It's currently doing so well on the pop radio charts and this does not deserve to have that! But hopefully it'll move back up soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Tones And I - Fly Away: We finally picked up a song from her that she doesn't have her obnoxious voice. But I gotta say, this is still a decent song. There's nothing interesting to say about it. I'm not really a fan of the production here, but her vocals actually don't sound bad. I think they actually sounded so great. And the chorus here was actually decent. So yeah, it's decent overall. Let's see how this one does on there.
Clinton Kane - Fix It To Break It: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this song was definitely another garbage song. There's nothing good to say about this song. The production in this one was boring, Clinton's vocals don't sound good at all, I'm not really a fan of those lyrics, and that chorus was so bad. So yeah, this is definitely a song that we don't need. Hopefully it doesn't do great on there.
Foushee - Deep End: Oh boy... her first countdown appearance, and my gosh this is also another garbage song. And there's actually been a song that was on the Hot 100 called Deep End Freestyle by Sleepy Hollow a few months ago, and it's basically the original version of that song and it's definitely not good. Now, for my opinion. The production in this one was so bland, her vocals do not sound good at all, and that chorus was so bad. So yeah, this is another garbage song overall. Hopefully this doesn't do well on there.
The Kid Laroi - Without You: He has made his first countdown appearance this week. But I gotta say, this is another decent song. There isn't really anything here that's interesting to say about this song. The production here actually sound great, and those lyrics were fine. But again, I'm not really huge on this guy's vocals. But the chorus actually sounded decent. So yeah, overall it's another decent song. Let's see how far this gets.
Royal & The Serpent - Overwhelmed: Wow, I actually didn't expect this song to be back on the countdown, but I'm okay with that! Let's see how far this one goes in it's second run.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Billie Eilish - Therefore I Am: I feel like this song must've been moving up and then dropping down for weeks. But I'm sure this might leave the Top 5 within the next week or so.
4. All Time Low/Demi Lovato/Blackbear - Monsters: It dropped out of the Top 3 this week. But I'm sure this is probably going to leave the Top 5 very soon.
3. Olivia Rodrigo - Driver's License: It debuted the Top 5 this week into the Top 3. Wow, this is actually going to be an amazing start in her career. Though I'm sure this is probably going to be at the top spot very soon. Hopefully it'll happen.
2. Machine Gun Kelly/Blackbear - My Ex's Best Friend: It's almost at the top spot. Now, could this be his first #1 song on there since Bad Things didn't 4 years ago? We're gonna have to find out. Let's see if it'll be at the top spot soon.
1. Dua Lipa/DaBaby - Levitating: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm super pleased to see it still in there. I actually thought it wasn't going to still be in there this week, but thank goodness it was! Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Saweetie/Doja Cat - Best Friend (DEBUT)
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Skin (DEBUT)
3. Mike Posner/Stanaj/Yung Bae - Momma Always Told Me (DEBUT)
4. Blackbear/Wiz Khalifa - Cheers (DEBUT)

8. SZA - Good Days
9. Why Don't We - Lotus Inn
10. Zara Larsson/Young Thug - Talk About Love
11. The Kid Laroi - So Done
12. Tate McRae - Rubberband (DEBUT)
13. Shaylen - Goodbye
14. Megan Thee Stallion - Body
15. Zoe Wees - Girls Like Us
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Saweetie/Doja Cat - Best Friend: This is absolutely another decent song. Although this song is actually a little bit of a step up from Tap In, but it's still decent. The production actually sounded so great, but again I'm not really huge on Saweetie's vocals. But Doja actually sounded pretty good in her verse. And I think those lyrics are actually very nicely-written. But this is another decent song overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Sabrina Carpenter - Skin: Oh god, our first song that left the countdown and then debuting on Hit Bound of this year. Gosh, I'm getting so tired of all of this! But hopefully it'll be back on the countdown soon.
Mike Posner/Stanaj/Yung Bae - Momma Always Told Me: He has finally made his return on there. Now, the last time we heard from him on there was I Took A Pill In Ibiza, and it was a hit back in 2016. And I know that wasn't actually the last song we heard from him, it was actually Song About You back in 2018 that we last heard from him, but this song wasn't actually on Hits 1 at the time. Now, as far as the song goes, it is definitely outstanding. The production is so awesome, Mike's vocals were absolutely outstanding, and I really like when all 3 of them singing together in the chorus. So yeah, definitely a fun song for me to listen to. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Blackbear/Wiz Khalifa - Cheers: Yeah, this is decent. This is not a rock song. There's really nothing interesting about this song to say. The production here actually sounded great, though Blackbear's vocals here were decent. They don't actually sound bad, but still not as good. Other than that, the chorus here was also decent, but I really enjoyed Wiz's verse. I thought he actually sounded so amazing in it. But it's another decent song overall. Again I like him in rock better. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
Jessia - I'm Not Pretty: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And what I've noticed is that she's actually the new One To Watch, which was amazing. As far as the song goes, it is definitely an amazing song. For my opinion, the production sounded so amazing, her vocals were absolutely amazing, the lyrics are definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and that chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Tate McRae - Rubberband: Since You Broke Me First is currently doing so well on there, this song has now made it's debut on there. Now, this is also an amazing song and it's definitely a step up from You Broke Me First. The production here was super amazing, Tate's vocals were absolutely amazing, the lyrics are very interesting, and I really enjoyed that chorus. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
