Dua Lipa (2) Week Of May 8, 2021

It sure has been a pretty good week this week on there. Although I do know that there has been some good and bad things that were happening on there. But other than that, we do have an interesting Top 5 this week. I'll get to all of those later on in this post, but for now, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm super pleased about Sara Kays - Remember That Night (+11) taking the biggest jump into the Top 20. Now, I'm really hoping that this should be in the Top 10 very soon.

Conan Gray - Overdrive and The Kid Laroi/Miley Cyrus - Without You (-4) (yes, they're now playing the remix of it.) were all tied for the biggest drop this week. As far as the remix goes, I thought that it was actually on the same level as the original one. I do love Miley's vocals in her contribution. I think she still sounds amazing here. But the song is still decent. But I'm okay with this remix taking it, but for the other one, I'm not really that thrilled, but at least it's still in the Top 10.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Billie Eilish - Your Power: This is absolutely another decent song. There's pretty much nothing here that's interesting to say about this song. Though the production here sounded solid, but I'm not really huge on Billie's vocals. I really can't stand her singing in her deep and raspy tone like in her other songs. But I don't mind the lyrics here and I think the chorus here sounded decent. But yeah, overall this is a decent song overall. Let's see how far this should get on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Ashe/Finneas - Till Forever Falls Apart: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm super glad to see it in there. Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 3 soon.

4. Machine Gun Kelly/Halsey - Forget Me Too: No, I really want this song to be back in the Top 3 and be at the top spot! But I don't think it's ever going to happen because of him.

3. Olivia Rodrigo - Deja Vu: I'm so pleased to see this song in the Top 3. And it looks like this song now has a chance to be at the top spot. I'm sure it'll be in there next week. Let's see if it does.

2. Taylor Swift - Mr. Perfectly Fine: It's almost at the top spot. Now, can this be her first ever song with the new version to be in there? We're gonna have to find out. Hopefully it'll be at the top spot soon.

1. Dua Lipa - We're Good: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still in there, but I'm sure another song might go to the top spot next week. But let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Alec Benjamin - The Way You Felt: It's actually been quite a while since we last heard from him. But he's back. As far as the song goes, it's also decent. As for my opinion, the production here sounded so outstanding, but again I still don't like his vocals. He still has his childish voice here. But the lyrics here were still very nicely-written, and the chorus was decent. So yeah, decent overall. Maybe when he gets older and still makes new music he will have a better voice. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Jessia/Bebe Rexha - I'm Not Pretty: This song came back on Hit Bound but it's the remix of it. As far as the remix goes, I thought that it was amazing and I think it's on the same level as the original one. Bebe's vocals in her contribution sounded super phenomenal here. So thanks to Hits 1 for playing the remix of this song that was featured by a talented singer for me. I'm sure hoping that this should be back on the countdown very soon.
