#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar (5 of 7 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

The Kid Laroi/Justin Bieber - Stay (+21) took a massive big jump into the Top 10 this week. I'm so pleased to see it do that. Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 5 soon.

Why would we let AJR - Way Less Sad (-14) take the biggest drop this week?! Not cool, guys. Not cool at all! But I'm sure it's going to be out of here within the next week or so.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Pop Smoke/Dua Lipa - Demeanor: We finally picked up a much better song from him. This is definitely way better than What You Know Bout Love. It's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production here was so amazing, Pop's vocals were super amazing and he sounds so much better than in his other songs, Dua's vocals were so phenomenal in her contribution, the lyrics were so interesting, and that chorus was so amazing. Let's see how this one does on there.

Billie Eilish - NDA: Though this song is a little bit of a step up from Your Power, but this is still a decent song. As for my opinion, the production here was decent, Billie's vocals were decent, the lyrics were decent, the chorus was decent, everything on this song was decent. But yeah, this is definitely a decent song for me overall. Though I'm not sure if this should do well on there, but let's see how far this one should get.

Kane Brown/Blackbear - Memory: This is definitely an outstanding song. But definitely not as good as Be Like That, but it's still outstanding. For my opinion on this one, the production was so outstanding, Kane's vocals were super outstanding, the lyrics were so nice, and the chorus was so amazing. Though Blackbear doesn't actually sound good in his verse, but he still sounds decent here. But this is such an outstanding song for me overall. But I'm sure this is probably gonna leave here and then debut on Hit Bound next week. But let's see how far this one should get.

Big Red Machine/Taylor Swift - Renegade: This group contains of Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner of The National, which I've actually found super interesting. And these guys have now made their first countdown appearance this week. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely amazing. Although I do know those 2 guys don't have much of a presence on there, because all they really have are backing vocals. But I do love their backing vocals here and Taylor's vocals were super amazing here, the production was so amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. But yeah, this really feels like a Taylor song and this is absolutely an amazing song for me to listen to overall. Hopefully it'll become a hit on there.

Twenty One Pilots - Saturday: The best countdown debut this week. This is definitely their best song ever and this is definitely a huge step up from their other songs. And I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation, too. It's definitely a heavenly song. With my opinion, the production was so heavenly, Tyler's vocals were super heavenly, those lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of and they're absolutely heavenly, and that chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 5 Songs of the year. Hopefully it'll do amazing on there.

Dua Lipa - Love Again: This is absolutely a phenomenal song and this is definitely a step up from We're Good. Now, I've gone through my opinion on this one back when it debuted the AT40 this week. The production was super amazing, Dua's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written and they're definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and that chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Regard/Troye Sivan/Tate McRae - You: Yeah, I don't think this song is ever going to be in the Top 3. But I'm sure this is going to be out of here very soon.

4. Doja Cat/SZA - Kiss Me More: Well, I actually didn't want this song to leave the Top 3, but it just had to do it. But I'm sure this is going to stay in the Top 5 for a little bit longer.

3. Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits: I'm so pleased to see this song make it's debut in the Top 5 and into the Top 3. And I'm sure this is going to be at the top spot very soon because...well it's him. Hopefully it'll happen very soon.

2. Marshmello/Jonas Brothers - Leave Before You Love Me: What the... I thought that this song has a chance to be at the top spot. But I'm not sure if it'll happen because of what was going on in there.

1. Olivia Rodrigo - Good 4 U: Holding the top spot for the 8th week in a row. Now this needs 5 more weeks to tie Sucker's record for the most weeks at #1. But yeah, this song has got to be the Adore You of 2021. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Nic D - Fine Apple: I'm okay with this song being back on Hit Bound. Although I'm not sure if it'll actually come back to the countdown, but I'll still give credit to it if it does soon. Let's see if it'll happen.

Dixie D'Amelio/Rubi Rose - Psycho: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. This is absolutely another phenomenal song and this is way better than Post Malone's song with the same title from 3 years ago. As for my opinion, the production was super amazing, Dixie's vocals were so phenomenal, Rubi's vocals were also so phenomenal in her verse, the lyrics were super interesting, and that chorus was definitely what I fell in love with. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Walker Hayes - Fancy Like: I heard this song a lot on The Highway. And this is actually the current #1 song on the Highway Hot 30. And of course, this is yet to be another TikTok song. As far as the song goes, it's such a super fun song. For my opinion on this one, the production was so fun, Walker's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super fun. But yeah, this is such a fun song for me to listen to. Here's to hoping that it should be on the countdown soon.

Khalid - New Normal: He hasn't actually had a solo single in a couple years. As far as this song goes, this is absolutely an outstanding song. But definitely not as good as Talk, but it's still outstanding. With my opinion, the production was so outstanding, Khalid's vocals were super outstanding, the lyrics were actually so interesting, and that chorus was so amazing. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Bazzi - I Like That: Now, the last time we heard from him was back a couple years ago when Paradise was there. And now, he's finally back. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from Paradise. As for my opinion, the production was super outstanding, Bazzi's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and that chorus was super amazing. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
