#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar (7th and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm super pleased about Twenty One Pilots - Saturday (+9) taking the biggest jump into the Top 10 this week. This really deserves it! Now, hopefully it'll be in the Top 5 very soon.

Lil Nas X - Montero (Call Me By Your Name) (-8) had the biggest drop this week. I'm actually okay with that. But I'm sure it should be leaving here very soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Lil Nas X/Jack Harlow - Industry Baby: Since Montero (Call Me By Your Name) is on it's way out of here, this song has now debuted straight onto there. As far as the song goes, it's also another decent song. Though this song was actually a step up from Montero (Call Me By Your Name), but it's still decent. As for my opinion, the production with all those horns was actually amazing, but again Lil Nas X does not sound good here. But I do love Jack's vocals in his contribution. I think he sounds amazing here. And other than that, the lyrics were still very nicely-written and I think the chorus sounded fine. But this is a decent song for me overall. Let's see how this one does on there.

Silk Sonic - Skate: This is the only great debut we have this week. As far as the song goes, this is definitely an amazing song and this is actually a step up from Leave The Door Open. For my opinion, the retro disco production here was so amazing, Bruno and Anderson .Paak's vocals both sound super amazing, those lyrics were super nicely-written, and that chorus was super fun. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Doja Cat/SZA - Kiss Me More: I actually didn't want this song to drop, but I'm sure this is probably gonna leave the Top 5 within the next week or so.

4. Regard/Troye Sivan/Tate McRae - You: I'm glad to see this song move back up, but again I'm not sure if it's going to be in the Top 3. Maybe it might, we don't know.

3. Olivia Rodrigo - Good 4 U: It dropped out of the top spot. But it really had an amazing run in there. Though this would've tied the record for most weeks at #1, but again I don't think it's going to happen. But I'm sure it'll stay in the Top 3 for a little while longer.

2. Marshmello/Jonas Brothers - Leave Before You Love Me: I actually thought that this song was going to be at the top spot this week, but it didn't. Though I don't think it'll ever going to be at the top spot, but we're gonna have to see.

1. Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits: I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. And I actually knew it was going to be in there because it's him. He really has been having a lot of #1 songs on there. Now, let's see how long it could hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Normani Kordei/Cardi B. - Wild Side

2. Against The Current - Jump (DEBUT)

3. Dixie D'Amelio/Rubi Rose - Psycho

4. Anne-Marie/Little Mix - Kiss My (Uh Oh)

5. Khalid - New Normal

6. All Time Low/Pale Waves - P.M.A. (DEBUT)

7. Olivia Rodrigo - Traitor (DEBUT)

8. Almost Monday - Til The End Of Time

9. Blackbear - @ My Worst (DEBUT)

10. Walker Hayes - Fancy Like

11. Alessia Cara - Sweet Dream

12. Vaultboy - Everything Sucks (DEBUT)

13. Bazzi - I Like That

14. Maroon 5 - Lost

15. Seb - Seaside Demo

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Against The Current - Jump: This is absolutely an amazing pop-punk song. I was really wondering where they picked this up, but I'm glad that this band made their debut on there. Now, for my opinion, the production and instrumentation both sound so amazing, the vocals were super amazing, those lyrics were so fun, and that chorus was absolutely marvelous. Though I'm not sure if it'll actually debut the countdown, but let's see if it'll happen soon.

All Time Low/Pale Waves - P.M.A.: This is also another amazing song and this is actually a step up from Once In A Lifetime. With my opinion, the production and the instrumentation sounded so amazing, the vocals were super amazing, and Pale Waves's vocals were so heavenly in her contribution. And I've actually heard of this band before this song because I've heard one of their songs on Alt Nation. But other than that, the lyrics were so interesting, and that chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Olivia Rodrigo - Traitor: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Since Good 4 U did super amazing on the countdown, this song has now made it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But not as good as Good 4 U, but it's still phenomenal. For my opinion, the production was super amazing, Olivia's vocals were so phenomenal, those lyrics were so phenomenal, and that chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown within the next week or so.

Blackbear - @ My Worst: Quick question. Why did the title replaced the @ sign instead of "at"? That is so weird. Anyway. As far as the song goes, it's decent. It's not really a rock song. For my opinion, the production here was decent, Blackbear's vocals were decent, and the chorus was decent. But I don't mind the lyrics though, because I think they're still very interesting. But this is a decent song for me overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Vaultboy - Everything Sucks: So this song must've came from TikTok or something. I really have no idea why they would pick this up. As far as the song goes, it's actually a boring song. And also, the song is less than 2 minutes long which I don't like. And this guy's vocals do not sound good and I'm not really huge on the production and the chorus was actually boring. So yeah, I'm not a fan of this one. I have it in blue right now, but it's getting close to being in red than it is in green. Hopefully it doesn't debut the countdown.
