Ed Sheeran (6) Week Of November 27, 2021

Again I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving on Thursday. I really had an amazing one, because my Thanksgiving dinner was so delicious and I also really enjoyed hanging out with everybody and watching the football games and stuff. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, it actually looks so interesting. We do have some more interesting debuts this week, and that of course I'll get to later on in this post. Shawn Mendes - Wonder (2 of 3 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm super pleased about Ed Sheeran - Overpass Graffiti (+9) taking the biggest jump into the Top 10. It really deserves to be in there. And now, I'm really hoping that it should be in the Top 5 very soon.

Lil Nas X/Jack Harlow - Industry Baby (-10) had the biggest drop all the way out of the Top 10 from the Top 5. Though I'm okay with that, but I do know it's going to be out of here soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Taylor Swift - Message In A Bottle: The best countdown debut this week. And she replaces herself on there too which I knew it was going to happen. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song and this is actually a little bit of a step up from Run. For my opinion, the production was so amazing, Taylor's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and that chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully this should do amazing on there.

Walker Hayes - U Girl: This song has now joined Fancy Like on there because of how well it's doing. As for this new song, it's definitely another amazing song. I've also been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. But this is not as good as Fancy Like, but it's still amazing. As for my opinion, the production was super outstanding, Walker's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super amazing. Hopefully this should do better on here than on the Highway Hot 30. Let's see how far this one should get.

Monsta X - One Day: Wow, I actually didn't expect this song to be on there. And now, this is their first countdown appearance. As far as the song goes, this is another decent song. There's nothing here that's interesting to say about this one. Though the production here was actually great, but again I'm not really huge on the vocals here. But the lyrics are what I don't mind here and I think the chorus was decent. But yeah, this is a decent song for me. Let's see how this one does on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Lil Nas X - That's What I Want: He replaced himself in the Top 5 this week, so I'm okay with that. I'll still give credit to it. Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 3 soon.

4. Jonas Brothers - Who's In Your Head: I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the Top 3. But hopefully next week it'll be in there.

3. Elton John/Dua Lipa/Pnau - Cold Heart: I do have a strange feeling that this song might leave the Top 3 next week. But it sure did had a nice time in there. Although this would've hit the top spot, but it just can't do it.

2. Adele - Easy On Me: It's almost at the top spot! Now, can she make her big return to the top spot? We're gonna have to find out. Hopefully it'll be at the top spot soon.

1. Ed Sheeran - Shivers: Holding the top spot for the 6th week in a row. Gosh, this song has seriously been doing super amazing on there. But I'm sure another song has a chance to be at the top spot next week, but let's see if it'll stay in there or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Masked Wolf/Bebe Rexha - It's You, Not Me (Sabotage)

14. Tai Verdes - Let's Go To Hell

15. Benson Boone - Ghost Town

16. Acraze/Cherish - Do It To It

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Adele - Oh My God: Since Easy On Me is doing so well on the countdown, we have picked up another single from her. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Easy On Me, but it's still amazing. For my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Adele's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. And I'm sure this is going to debut the countdown when Easy On Me hits the top spot soon. Let's see if it'll happen.

Gayle - ABCDEFU: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. And I've noticed that this song has also gone viral on TikTok, which was very interesting. This is absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Gayle's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
