AT40: Doja Cat (1) Week Of April 16, 2022
As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, but unfortunately we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of this year and of course it will forever be missed. But we also got rid of a piece of trash and that was always an amazing thing. And we do have another brand new #1 song on there, and that of course I'll get to that later on in this post. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 40, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Olivia Rodrigo - Driver's License (5th and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased that Em Beihold - Numb Little Bug (+7) has been gaining lots of airplay on the pop radio charts this week. What an amazing week for her!
Although I'm not too thrilled to see The Chainsmokers - High (-5) take the biggest drop, but at least it's still in the Top 20 so it's always a nice thing to see.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Iann Dior - Let You: He has made his first appearance on there since his collaboration with 24kgoldn on Mood, which was a huge hit on there back in late 2020/early 2021. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. For my opinion, the production was super outstanding, Iann's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super amazing. So yeah, this is such an amazing song overall for me to listen to. Let's see how this one does on there.
Mimi Webb - House On Fire: The best debut this week. After Good Without and 24 / 5 did not do so well since they were Hit Bound dropouts, we now have this song making it's debut on there. As for this new song, it's definitely phenomenal. The production was so phenomenal, Mimi's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.
Labrinth/Zendaya - I'm Tired: This is actually taken from an HBO series called Euphoria, which I've actually never watched before. But I'm gonna have to watch some episodes of it someday. But this is such an amazing song for me to listen to. With my opinion, the production was super outstanding, Labrinth's vocals were so amazing, Zendaya's vocals were so phenomenal in her contribution, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super amazing. Let's see how far this one should get.
Diplo/Miguel - Don't Forget My Love: This was absolutely an amazing EDM song. But definitely not as good as Heartless, but it's still amazing. For my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, Miguel's vocals were super amazing, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, the chorus was so phenomenal and I really enjoyed the drop. So yeah, this is an amazing and fun EDM song overall for me to listen to. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Imagine Dragons - Enemy: I'm so pleased to see this song make it's debut in the Top 5. This really deserves to be in there! Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 3 soon.
4. Latto - Big Energy: I'm pleased that this song is moving up. Now, I'm really hoping that it should be in the Top 3 within the next week or so.
3. Glass Animals - Heat Waves: I'm sure that within the next week or so it's going to be out of the Top 3 and start being on it's way out of here. But let's see what happens.
2. Lil Nas X - That's What I Want: It dropped out of the top spot once again. But it sure did had a nice run, so I'll still give credit to that. And I'm sure that this song is going to be on it's way out of here starting next week.
1. Doja Cat - Woman: I'm so pleased to see this song in the top spot. And this is now her 4th #1 song on there, which was amazing. Now, let's see how long it could hold the spot.
