So the month of March is now upon us. As far as the countdown goes, things were still looking amazing, but unfortunately one of our debuts this week is bad. But we're just not gonna worry about that because of course I'll get to it later. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Olivia Rodrigo - Driver's License (2 of 4 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Em Beihold - Numb Little Bug (+15) take the biggest jump. And it's almost in the Top 5 as well so hopefully it'll be in there next week.
I'm fine with Justin Bieber - Ghost (-15) taking the biggest drop. After spending numerous weeks at #4, it has now finally started to drop. And I'm sure that this song is going to be out of here very soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Fireboy DML/Ed Sheeran - Peru: We finally have an artist from Nigeria making his debut on there. And this is the only great debut we have this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely phenomenal. As for my opinion, the production was super amazing, Fireboy DML's vocals were so phenomenal and they shine throughout the song, Ed's vocals were also so phenomenal in his contribution, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super fun. Hopefully this should do well on there.
Dove Cameron - Boyfriend: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but my gosh this song is so bad. I've known her ever since she was the star of the Disney Channel show Liv & Maddie long ago, and she was also part of the song Night Falls from Descendants 3 a few years ago and I've actually seen it before. And now she has made her first countdown appearance which is not good. The production was a huge mess, I do not like how raspy Dove's vocals were, the vibes were so weird, the lyrics are what I'm not a fan of, and the chorus was so awful. Please don't let this become a hit.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Post Malone/The Weeknd - One Right Now: I'm fine with this song moving down. Though I'm sure this is never going to hit the Top 3 and maybe it might be out of here sometime soon.
4. Gayle - ABCDEFU: I'm pleased to see this song move up. Now, I'm really hoping that this should be in the Top 3 very soon.
3. Imagine Dragons/J.I.D. - Enemy: I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the top spot. But maybe this might not go in there, but we don't know yet.
2. Charlie Puth - Light Switch: I'm also still waiting for it to be at the top spot. I know I said it because it's him. He has been having a lot of #1 songs on there so I'm sure this is going to be in there very soon.
1. Ed Sheeran - Overpass Graffiti: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. I'm super pleased that it's still in there. But I feel like another song might take over the top spot next week, but let's see if it'll stay in there or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Nessa Barrett - Dying On The Inside (DEBUT)
2. Camila Cabello/Ed Sheeran - Bam Bam (DEBUT)

14. Mimi Webb - House On Fire
15. Benson Boone - Room For 2
16. Jena Rose - Checkmate (DEBUT)
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Nessa Barrett - Dying On The Inside: She is finally back after I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead was a Hit Bound dropout last year. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely another phenomenal song and this is actually a step up from I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead. As for my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Nessa's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and super fun. I'm really hoping that this should be on the countdown soon.
Camila Cabello/Ed Sheeran - Bam Bam: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. I was actually expecting her to make her return on there because I know she has been a super talented singer. As for this song, it's definitely another heavenly song. With my opinion, the production was super phenomenal, Camila's vocals were so heavenly, Ed's vocals were super phenomenal in his contribution, the lyrics were pretty phenomenal, and I really enjoyed the chorus. I'm really hoping that this should be on the countdown soon.
Tove Lo - How Long: Wow, it's been a super long time since she last appeared on there. I know Talking Body was a hit back in 2015, and of course I've been enjoying that song back then. And now, as for this new song, it's absolutely phenomenal. But definitely not as good as Talking Body, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Tove Lo's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and I really stand for the chorus. So yeah, phenomenal song overall. Hopefully she'll make her big return on the countdown very soon.
Omah Lay/Justin Bieber - Attention: Wow, 2 songs in a row that jacked up the titles from Charlie Puth hits? That's super interesting. And of course, he is another Nigerian artist. But I gotta say, this is just another decent song. There isn't really anything here that's interesting to say about it. Though Omah's vocals don't sound that bad and I kinda like the production here, but Justin's vocals don't sound good here. I really don't like when he was singing in a super low register here. Though the lyrics were fine here and the chorus was decent. But yeah, this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Hot Chelle Rae - Stupid Song: They have made another comeback this week after 2 years when I Hate (Love) LA was there. As for this new song, it's definitely amazing. But definitely not as good as I Hate (Love) LA, but it's still amazing. The production here was so amazing, the vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so fun. But yeah, this is such an amazing and fun song overall. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
5 Seconds Of Summer - Complete Mess: We have finally picked up another new song from them after 2011 became a Hit Bound dropout a few months ago. As far as the song goes, it's also an amazing song. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Luke's vocals were super amazing, I'm a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so phenomenal. So yeah, amazing song overall. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Ashe - Another Man's Jeans: She has made her return on there after Moral Of The Story with Niall and Save Myself were both hits a couple years ago. As for this new song, it's absolutely phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Ashe's vocals were so phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so phenomenal. I'm really hoping that this should be on the countdown very soon.
Salem Ilese/Tomorrow X Together/Alan Walker - PS5: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and this is actually a step up from Mad At Disney. And I've noticed that this song is about the PS5, hence the title, which I've actually found very interesting. As for my opinion, the production was super fun, Salem's vocals were super phenomenal, the guy from Tomorrow X Together sounded so phenomenal in his contribution, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Tyga/Doja Cat - Freaky Deaky: Wow, I did not expect to like a song from him. But this song was also amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Tyga's verses sound so much better than in his other songs and he flows very nicely in the verses, Doja's vocals were so phenomenal in her contribution, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super fun. But yeah, this is such a fun song overall for me to listen to. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
Jena Rose - Checkmate: Wow, I really have no idea where Hits 1 picked up this song. But I'm sure that this might be another TikTok song so that's why. As far as the song goes, it's such a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Jena's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and I really fell in love with the chorus. Though I'm not sure if this is going to be on the countdown, but we're gonna have to see if it does. I'm really hoping it should be in there soon.
