Harry Styles (2) Week Of May 21, 2022
As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks good, but we did get rid of a song that's going to be in my top songs of the year, and that of course it will forever be missed like always. But we do have some more amazing stuff happening on there. But I'll get to those later on in this post. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! This Week's Mover and Shaker:
DNCE - Move (+8) had the biggest jump this week which I'm so pleased about. And I'm sure hoping that this should go to the Top 20 soon.
Avril Lavigne/Blackbear - Love It When You Hate Me had the biggest drop for the second week in a row, which I'm totally not okay with. I was also not happy that 5 Seconds Of Summer - Complete Mess (-5) was tied for it. But I'm sure that this is going to be the end of it as well.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Maneskin - Supermodel: The best countdown debut this week. I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and this is definitely a step up from Mammamia. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Damiano David's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was definitely what I stand for. Hopefully this should do well on there.
Post Malone/Roddy Ricch - Cooped Up: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but my gosh this song was definitely garbage. I know I was going to say that because it's him. For my opinion on this one, the production was so horrible, Post's vocals were so awful and Roddy's vocals also don't sound good in his contribution, I'm not really huge on the lyrics, and the chorus was definitely garbage. So yeah, I don't even know why we have this. Please don't let this become a hit on there. NEXT!
5 Seconds Of Summer - Me, Myself & I: This is definitely a phenomenal song and this is actually a step up from Complete Mess and G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha's song from 2016 with the same title. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Luke's vocals were so phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super phenomenal and definitely what I fell in love with. I'm sure hoping that this should become a hit on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Tate McRae - She's All I Wanna Be: I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the Top 3, but I'm not sure if this will actually happen though.
4. Imagine Dragons/J.I.D. - Enemy: Yeah, I'm sure this song is going to hang around in the Top 5 for a little while longer. Let's see how long it will hang around in there.
3. Megan Thee Stallion/Dua Lipa - Sweetest Pie: I actually don't want this song to drop. But at least it's still in the Top 3, so that's still amazing.
2. Dove Cameron - Boyfriend: Oh boy... it's almost at the top spot. Come on, please don't let this be her first #1 song on there. I really don't want this to happen.
1. Harry Styles - As It Was: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still in there, and I really hope that this should block Boyfriend from going to the top spot.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Leah Kate - 10 Things I Hate About You
2. The Chainsmokers - I Love U
3. Bazzi - Will It Ever Feel The Same

15. Ashe - Hope You're Not Happy
16. Lawrence - Don't Lose Sight
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Em Beihold - Too Precious: Since Numb Little Bug hit the Top 5 on the countdown, this song has now made it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Numb Little Bug, but it's still phenomenal. As for my opinion, the production was super amazing, Em's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Conor Maynard - P.G.N.L.: He has made his first appearance on there since Turn Around back in 2013. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song. There isn't really anything interesting to say about this one. Though Conor's vocals don't sound that bad here, but the production was so boring. Though the lyrics were still very nicely-written and the chorus was just decent. So yeah, this is a decent song for me to listen to overall. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
John Legend/J.I.D. - Dope: He has also made his return on there this week after many years of hiatus. As far as the song goes, this is definitely another amazing song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, John's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, the chorus was so phenomenal, and J.I.D.'s vocals in his verse were super amazing as well. But yeah, this is such an amazing song overall. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Harry Styles - Late Night Talking: Since As It Was hit the top spot on there, we now have this song making it's debut on there. As for this new song, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as As It Was, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Harry's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super duper interesting, and the chorus was definitely what I stand for. I'm hoping that this should be on the countdown within the next week or so.
Stephen Sanchez - Until I Found You: This is also another decent song. There isn't really anything interesting to say about this song. Though I'm really not huge on the production here, but Stephen's vocals actually don't sound that bad here and I think the chorus was just decent. And the lyrics here were still fine, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is a decent song overall. Though I'm not sure if this should be on the countdown, but let's see if it'll be in there soon.
88Rising/Bibi - Best Lover: They are now collaborating again after The Weekend became a Hit Bound dropout. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as The Weekend, but it's still amazing. For my opinion, the production was super outstanding, Bibi's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super amazing. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Tai Verdes - 100sadsongs: We've now picked up a new song from him after Last Day On Earth became a Hit Bound dropout. As far as the song goes, this is definitely an amazing song and this is actually a little bit of a step up from Last Day On Earth. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Tai's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Though I'm not sure if this should be on the countdown, but I'm sure hoping that it should.
