This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm super pleased about Calvin Harris/Dua Lipa/Young Thug - Potion (+5) taking the biggest jump. This totally deserves to take it! Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 10 soon.
For the second week in a row, Em Beihold - Numb Little Bug (-7) had the biggest drop. And yes, I'm sure that this song is going to leave the countdown very soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Amelia Moore - I Feel Everything: The best countdown debut this week. She has now made her first countdown appearance this week after becoming the One To Watch. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Amelia's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal and I really like her shouting in it. Though I'm not sure if this is going to do well on there since she's the next One To Watch, but let's see how far this goes.
The Chainsmokers - I Love U: This is absolutely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as iPad, but it's still amazing. As for my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, Andrew's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, the chorus was so phenomenal, and the drop was also so phenomenal, especially the final drop. But yeah, this is such an amazing song overall. Let's see if this should do well on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Shawn Mendes - When You're Gone: I'm super glad to see this song in the Top 5. Gosh, he sure has been having a lot of Top 5 songs on there. Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 3 soon.
4. Lizzo - About Damn Time: Well, it's dropping. And yes, like what I said, I don't think it's ever going to hit the top spot on there. But maybe it might start dropping and be on it's way out of here.
3. Ed Sheeran/Lil Baby - 2step: I actually expected this song to be in the Top 3 this week. And now, I'm sure hoping that this should go to the top spot very soon.
2. Nicky Youre - Sunroof: It's almost at the top spot! But again I don't think it's ever going to be in there, but let's see if this should be his first #1 song or not on there.
1. Harry Styles - As It Was: Holding the top spot for the 7th week in a row. Wow, how on earth has this song been doing on there? He was definitely the most popular former One Direction member on there. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Muni Long/Saweetie - Baby Boo
2. Dove Cameron - Breakfast (DEBUT)
3. Aespa - Life's Too Short (DEBUT)
4. Charlie Puth/Jung Kook - Left And Right (DEBUT)
5. Tai Verdes - Sheluvme (DEBUT)
6. Dixie D'Amelio - A Letter To Me
7. Ashe - Angry Woman (DEBUT)
8. Conan Gray - Disaster (DEBUT)
9. Black Eyed Peas/Shakira/David Guetta - Don't You Worry
10. Taylor Swift - Carolina (DEBUT)
11. Leah Kate - Twinkle Twinkle Little Bitch (DEBUT)
12. Joji - Glimpse Of Us
13. Amelia Moore - I Feel Everything
14. Nessa Barrett - Die First (DEBUT)
15. Sauce Santana/Latto - Booty
16. Charlotte Sands - Dress
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Dove Cameron - Breakfast: Since Boyfriend hit the Top 5 on there, we now have this song debuting on there. Though this song is actually better than Boyfriend, but it's still not that good of a song. It's just mediocre. There isn't really anything interesting to say about it. Dove's vocals still don't sound good here and everything else is kinda weird. So yeah, this is just mediocre overall. I'll be fine if this song debuts the countdown soon. Let's see if it'll be in there.
Aespa - Life's Too Short: I'm assuming that Hits 1 might've played the English or Korean version of this song. I would say the English version. I don't quite understand the Korean lyrics in the Korean version because I know I'm English. But this is actually an amazing K-Pop song. The production was so amazing, the vocals were super amazing, and the chorus was so phenomenal. But I'm not sure if this is going to debut the countdown, but I'm sure hoping that it will.
Charlie Puth/Jung Kook - Left And Right: This is such an interesting collaboration because I know we have a BTS member collaborating with him. As far as the song goes, this is also an amazing song and this is actually a step up from Light Switch and That's Hilarious. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Charlie's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super nicely-written, the chorus was so phenomenal, and I really love Jung Kook's verse. I think he sounds super amazing in it. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
Tai Verdes - Sheluvme: After 100sadsongs became a Hit Bound dropout, we have now picked up a new single from him. As for this new song, it's definitely amazing. But definitely not as good as 100sadsongs, but it's still amazing. As for my opinion on this song, the production was super outstanding, Tai's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics were super duper interesting, and the chorus was super amazing. But I don't think it's ever going to make the countdown, but let's see if it does or not.
Ashe - Angry Woman: We also picked up a new single from her after Another Man's Jeans became a Hit Bound dropout. As far as the song goes, it's definitely phenomenal and this is actually a step up from Another Man's Jeans. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Ashe's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
Conan Gray - Disaster: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and this is definitely a step up from People Watching. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Conan's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly and super fun. But yeah, overall it's such a phenomenal song for me to listen to. I'm sure hoping that this should be on the countdown soon.
Taylor Swift - Carolina: This is actually one of the songs taking from the Where The Crawdads Sing movie, which of course I've never seen before. But I'm gonna have to watch it someday. But this is such a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Message In A Bottle. For my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Taylor's vocals were so phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully this should be on the countdown within the next week or so.
Leah Kate - Twinkle Twinkle Little Bitch: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. But I do know this song is definitely not for kids even though the title does look like a famous kids song. But instead of "star", they replaced it with "bitch" which is a bad word. We should all know that we are not allowed to say bad words unless we're adults. But this song is actually a heavenly song and it's actually a step up from 10 Things I Hate About You. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Leah's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
Nessa Barrett - Die First: I really don't get that all of her song titles were mentioned death. But I do still love her music though. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely amazing. But definitely not as good as Dying On The Inside, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Nessa's vocals were super amazing and she shines very nicely throughout the song, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. But I don't think it's ever going to be on the countdown, but let's see if it does soon.
