#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Taylor Swift - Willow (3 of 4 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Camila Cabello/Ed Sheeran - Bam Bam, Eddie Benjamin - Weatherman, Doja Cat - Woman, Lauren Spencer-Smith - Fingers Crossed, Post Malone/The Weeknd - One Right Now and Megan Thee Stallion/Dua Lipa - Sweetest Pie (+3) were all tied for a short biggest jump this week which was crazy. But I'm pleased about 4 out of 6 of them.

I'm really not too thrilled to see Latto - Big Energy (-9) take the biggest drop. Last week it had the biggest jump into the Top 10, and now this week it has the biggest drop? So not cool! But hopefully it'll move back up soon, but I'm not sure if it's actually going to happen.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Shawn Mendes - When You're Gone: After It'll Be Okay became a Hit Bound dropout, we now have this song making it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely an amazing song and this is actually a step up from It'll Be Okay. With my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, Shawn's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super nicely-written and they're definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully it'll become a hit on there.

Harry Styles - As It Was: The best countdown debut this week. I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As for this new song, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Harry's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. I'm really hoping that it should become a hit on there and I'm sure this is definitely going to do better on here than on the Alt-18 because it's him.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Avril Lavigne/Blackbear - Love It When You Hate Me: Yeah, I don't think this song is ever going to be in the Top 3 at all. But maybe this might stay in the Top 5 for a few more weeks longer.

4. Tiesto/Ava Max - The Motto: I'm still waiting for this song to be in the Top 3, but maybe it might take a couple weeks or so to be in there. Or maybe it might not, we don't know yet for sure.

3. Charlie Puth - Light Switch: I feel like this song might be dropping because of what was going on in the top spot. But I do have a feeling that this might leave the Top 3 soon.

2. Em Beihold - Numb Little Bug: It's almost at the top spot! I'm so pleased to see it move up. And I'm really hoping that this should be her first #1 song on there very soon.

1. Imagine Dragons/J.I.D. - Enemy: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still in there. I know Hits 1 has sure been in love with them because I know they've been having a lot of #1 songs on there. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. 24kgoldn/Travis Barker - In My Head

2. Blu DeTiger - Hot Crush Lover (DEBUT)

3. New Rules - Go The Distance (DEBUT)

15. Surfaces - I Can't Help But Feel

16. Normani Kordei - Fair (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Blu DeTiger - Hot Crush Lover: Does anybody remember her? She had a Hit Bound dropout called Figure It Out 2 years ago, and that was an amazing song for me. And now we have this one, which was also amazing. And this is actually a step up from Figure It Out as well. As for my opinion, the production was so amazing, her vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and I really fell in love with the chorus. Hopefully this should be her first countdown appearance soon.

New Rules - Go The Distance: Wait... the band has the same name as a Dua Lipa song? That's so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely another amazing song. With my opinion, the production was super outstanding, the vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Although I'm not sure if this is going to be on the countdown since they are new, but let's see if it does soon.

Jvke - This Is What Falling In Love Feels Like: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this song was definitely not a good song for me. And of course the song itself was 2 minutes long which I really don't like. But let's get to my opinion. The production here is so bad, Jvke's vocals don't sound good at all, I'm definitely not huge on the lyrics, and the chorus was just boring. But yeah, this is just not a good song overall. It's not awful, I do not hate it, I just don't like it. Hopefully it doesn't debut the countdown.

Lauv - All 4 Nothing (I'm So In Love): The best Hit Bound entrant this week. They have finally made their return on there. Gosh, I was actually expecting that to happen because I know he has been such a very talented singer. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. With my opinion on this one, the production was super phenomenal, Lauv's vocals were super heavenly, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super heavenly. This is going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year when it debuts the countdown. I'm hoping it'll happen very soon.

Almost Monday - Sunburn: We picked up a new song from them after Til The End Of Time became a Hit Bound dropout last year. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song. Though not as decent as Til The End Of Time, but it's still decent. Though the production here still sounds super outstanding, but again I don't like this guy's vocals here. Also, there are some strange vocal filters in the chorus that I really hate. Although the lyrics were fine here, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is decent overall. Though I don't think this song is ever going to be on the countdown, but let's see if it does soon.

Russ/Ktlyn - Handsomer: I've actually known him before this song because he had a song called Best On Earth from 2 years ago and that was a song that I've actually enjoyed back then. And now we have this song. And not only that, but this is also his first appearance on there. As for this new song, it's definitely amazing. But definitely not as good as Best On Earth, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Russ's vocals were super amazing, Ktlyn's vocals were super phenomenal in her contribution, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Though I'm not sure if this should debut the countdown, but let's see if it'll be in there soon.

Normani Kordei - Fair: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and this is actually a step up from Wild
Side. As for my opinion on this song, the production was super amazing, Normani's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written and they're definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super phenomenal. But yeah, this is such a phenomenal song overall for me to listen to. I'm sure hoping that this should be on the countdown soon.
