#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
The Kid Laroi/Justin Bieber - Stay (4 of 11 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm super pleased about David Guetta/Bebe Rexha - I'm Good (Blue) (+7) take the biggest jump. This totally deserves it! And I'm sure hoping that this should go to the Top 20 soon.
Jack Harlow - First Class (-5) took a short biggest drop this week. I actually expected it to happen because I know it's on it's way out of here.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Macklemore/Windser - Maniac: This is such an amazing song. Although it's not as good as Conan Gray's hit song from 2020 with the same title, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Macklemore's rapping in the verses were super amazing and he flows very nicely throughout them, the lyrics were super interesting, and Windser's vocals in the chorus were so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one should get on there.
DJ Khaled/Drake/Lil Baby - Staying Alive: The best debut this week. They have collaborated again after Popstar and Greece back in 2020, and of course those were songs that I enjoyed back then. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. But definitely not as good as Popstar, but it's actually a step up from Greece. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Drake's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, the chorus was super heavenly, and Lil Baby's vocals in his verse were super phenomenal. Hopefully it'll become a hit on there.
KX5/Hayla - Escape: This is absolutely a phenomenal EDM song. I've also heard the remix with deadmau5 and Kaskade, and that was definitely what I really enjoyed. Though the original version of it is actually on the same level as the remix. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Hayla's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this one should get on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Harry Styles - As It Was: I do have a feeling that this song is going to be out of the Top 5 very soon. But it really did had an amazing long run on there.
4. Lizzo - About Damn Time: I actually did not expect this song to move back up. But I'm sure it's going to be on it's way out of here starting within the next week or so.
3. Harry Styles - Late Night Talking: I also did not expect this song to drop. But at least it's still in the Top 3, which is always an amazing thing.
2. Nicky Youre/Dazy - Sunroof: It dropped out of the top spot once again. But it sure did had a nice time back in there last week. But I'm sure that it's going to be on it's way out of here soon.
1. Post Malone/Doja Cat - I Like You (A Happier Song): I'm fine with this song at the top spot. And this is actually the first song from him that was decent to ever hit the top spot on there, because his other songs that have hit #1 on there sucked. But let's see how long this one should hold the spot.
