AT40: Post Malone (2) Week Of October 15, 2022

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
The Kid Laroi/Justin Bieber - Stay (5 of 11 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
David Guetta/Bebe Rexha - I'm Good Blue) (+7) had the biggest jump for the second week in a row. I'm super duper pleased to see it happen. This totally deserves it! And it's getting close to the Top 20 as well so hopefully it'll be in there next week.
Although I'm not too thrilled to see Halsey - So Good (-10) take the biggest drop, but at least it's still in the Top 20 which was always amazing. But I do know it's about to be on it's way out of here.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Blackpink - Pink Venom: The best debut this week. Now, I do know Rose and Lisa both made solo singles last year and both of their singles were Hit Bound dropouts. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. As for my opinion, the production was so amazing, the vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one should get on there.
Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me: He has finally made his return on there after a while of making new music. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as Before You Go, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this one, the production was super outstanding, Lewis's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics were super nice, and the chorus was super amazing. I'm really hoping that this should do well on there.
Lil Nas X - Star Walkin': This was actually one of the songs that was taken from League Of Legends, which I think is an amazing show. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song. There isn't really anything interesting to say about it. He's still not a good artist in my opinion. With my opinion, his vocals still don't sound good here and the chorus was decent. But the production was still so outstanding here and I don't mind the lyrics, because they're still so nice. But this is decent overall. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Harry Styles - Late Night Talking: Well, it dropped out of the Top 3, but I'm sure this song is about to be on it's way out of here. But it still had an amazing run in there.
4. Harry Styles - As It Was: I actually did not expect this song to move back up. But I'm sure this song is never going to come back to the Top 3. But I'm sure this is going to be on it's way out of here very soon.
3. Doja Cat - Vegas: It debuted the Top 5 this week and into the Top 3. I'm so pleased to see this song in there, and I'm sure hoping that this should go to the top spot very soon.
2. Nicky Youre/Dazy - Sunroof: At least it's still standing at that spot which was always an amazing thing to see. But I'm sure it's definitely going to be out of here soon.
1. Post Malone/Doja Cat - I Like You (A Happier Song): Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm still fine with this song still in this spot, even though the song was decent. I'll still give credit to it. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
