#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

The Kid Laroi/Justin Bieber - Stay (3 of 6 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm fine with Yung Gravy - Betty (Get Money) taking the biggest jump. But what's also tied for the biggest jump which I'm so pleased to see is Elton John/Britney Spears - Hold Me Closer (+8), which of course it totally deserves.

Wow, I did not expect Harry Styles - Late Night Talking (-14) to drop out of the top spot with the biggest drop this week. But it still had a phenomenal run on there. But I'm sure this song is now officially on it's way out of here.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Jvke - Golden Hour: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but my gosh this song is definitely garbage. I remember when he brought us This Is What Falling In Love Feels Like which was a Hit Bound dropout, and that was a song that I've been hating back then. And now, for this new song, it's definitely garbage and maybe even worse than This Is What Falling In Love Feels Like. For my opinion, the production was so bland, Jvke's vocals were so awful, the lyrics were so bad and they don't fit very well with the song, and my gosh the chorus was total garbage. This is definitely going to end up in my Bottom 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully it doesn't do well on there.

Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me: He has finally made his return on there after a while of making new music. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Before You Go, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this one, the production was super outstanding, Lewis's vocals were so amazing, the lyrics were super nice, and the chorus was super amazing. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

David Guetta/Bebe Rexha - I'm Good (Blue): The best countdown debut this week. And the song also samples Eiffel 65's hit single Blue (Da Ba Dee), which was definitely the best thing about this song. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an extremely heavenly EDM song and this has got to be David's best song ever. It's definitely a huge step up from all of his other songs. With my opinion, the production was extremely heavenly, Bebe's vocals were extremely heavenly, the lyrics were extremely heavenly, the chorus was extremely heavenly, the drop was extremely heavenly, everything here was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up as my #1 song of the year. And now we have 9 on my list, so 1 more to go! Hopefully this should become a massive hit on there.

Stephen Sanchez - Until I Found You: I actually didn't expect this song to come back on there for the third time, but I'm actually fine with that. Now, let's see how this one does in it's third run.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. OneRepublic - I Ain't Worried: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm super pleased to see this song in there since it's one of my top songs of the year. And I'm really hoping that it should go to the Top 3 soon.

4. Post Malone/Doja Cat - I Like You (A Happier Song): I'm fine with this song back in the Top 5, though it's almost in the Top 3 so if it gets there within the next week or so, I'll still give credit to it.

3. Harry Styles - Music For A Sushi Restaurant: It also debuted the Top 5 this week and it has now made it to the Top 3 which I knew it was going to happen. And I'm sure this is probably gonna hit the top spot very soon. Let's see if it does.

2. Lizzo - 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready): It's almost at the top spot! Although I'm not sure if it'll actually be at the top spot, but let's see if it does soon.

1. Charlie Puth/Jung Kook - Left And Right: I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. I know he sure has been having a lot of #1 songs on there, so this deserves to be in there. Now, let's see how long it should hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. DJ Khaled/Drake/Lil Baby - Staying Alive

2. 5 Seconds Of Summer - Best Friends (DEBUT)

3. Quinn XCII/Big Sean - Common (DEBUT)

4. Kelsea Ballerini - Heartfirst (DEBUT)

5. Lil Nas X - Star Walkin' (DEBUT)

6. Sam Smith/Kim Petras - Unholy (DEBUT)

7. Beach Weather - Sex, Drugs, Etc. (DEBUT)

11. Havanna Winter - Heaven To Me (DEBUT)

12. Aidan Bissett - Tripping Over Air

13. Post Malone - Wrapped Around Your Finger

14. Tai Verdes - Two Sugars

15. Cheat Codes/Russell Dickerson - I Remember

16. Armani White - Billie Eilish

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

5 Seconds Of Summer - Best Friends: So they have put out a new album last week called 5SOS5, and this is one of the songs that was off the album. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Me, Myself & I. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Luke's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and I really fell in love with the chorus. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown very soon.

Quinn XCII/Big Sean - Common: This is just a decent song. There really isn't anything interesting to say about it. Although the production was so amazing and groovy, but Quinn XCII's vocals do not sound good here at all. And yes, he's still not a good artist. Though the lyrics were still super nicely-written and the chorus was just decent. But I do love Big Sean's part, because he sounds super amazing in his verse. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Kelsea Ballerini - Heartfirst: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. I've been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. And we've actually never heard from her since she brought us This Feeling with The Chainsmokers which was a hit and Miss Me More back in 2019, and of course I've been enjoying those two songs back then. And now, for this new song, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from This Feeling and Miss Me More. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Kelsea's vocals were pretty phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Lil Nas X - Star Walkin': This song is actually taken from League Of Legends, which was actually an amazing show. But I gotta say, this is also a decent song. There's nothing here that's interesting to say about it. He's still not a good artist either. His vocals still don't sound good here and the chorus was decent, but the production was so outstanding here and I don't mind the lyrics, because they're still so nice. But this is just a decent song overall for me to listen to. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Sam Smith/Kim Petras - Unholy: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Love Me More. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Sam's vocals were so phenomenal, Kim's vocals were super phenomenal in her contribution and as good as she did in Heart To Break 4 years ago, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if this should make the countdown soon.

Beach Weather - Sex, Drugs, Etc.: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but my gosh this song is so horrible. And the song was also released in 2016 as well. Gosh, I have no idea what those songs that were released that year have been getting popular currently. Maybe they've gone viral on TikTok or something? I don't know. Now, let's get to my opinion. The production was so horrible, there's strange effects across the whole song, the vocals were awful, the lyrics were so terrible, and the chorus was so grating. This is definitely going to end up in my Bottom 5 Songs of the year when it makes the countdown. I'm sure hoping this doesn't do it.

Omar Apollo - Evergreen (You Don't Deserve Me At All): This is just a mediocre song. There's really nothing here to say that's interesting about it. Though the production here is kinda weird, although Omar's vocals were okay here but not the best, and the chorus was meh. But I still don't mind the lyrics here because they're still very nicely-written. But this is mediocre overall. Though I'm not sure if it's going to debut the countdown, but I'll still be okay if it does soon.

Mike Posner - I'm Not Dead Yet: Of course he had a Hit Bound dropout last year called Momma Always Told Me, and that was a song that I actually enjoyed. As far as this new song goes, it's also another amazing song. But definitely not as good as Momma Always Told Me, but it's still amazing. As for my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Mike's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. But I'm not sure if it's going to debut the countdown either mainly because it's him, but let's see if it does soon.

Havanna Winter - Heaven To Me: She replaced herself on there this week. As far as the song goes, this is also an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Rain Rain Go Away, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Havanna's vocals were super amazing, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if this should be her first countdown appearance soon.
