#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits (5th and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl (+9) take the biggest jump. This really deserves it! And I'm sure hoping that this should go to the Top 20 next week.

I'm not too thrilled about Kane Brown - Grand (-8) taking the biggest drop. Come on, we don't need this song to leave the countdown too soon. This needs to move up!

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Elton John/Britney Spears - Hold Me Closer: The best countdown debut this week. And of course it's been a long time since Britney has last been on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Cold Heart, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was super phenomenal, I really love the robotic vocals that we have from Elton and Britney's vocals were super phenomenal as well, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. I'm sure hoping that this should do amazing on there.

Rosa Linn - Snap: She has now made her first countdown appearance this week. And what I've found interesting about this song is that it actually sounds like an early 2010s indie folk-pop song with a little bit of a mixture of Taylor Swift, which was actually super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Rosa's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus is what I really fell in love with. I sure would like to see this become the next One To Watch soon. But in the meantime, let's see how this one does on there.

Rema/Selena Gomez - Calm Down: Gosh, we do have a lot of Nigerian artists that have made their debut on the countdown this year. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal and fun song. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Rema's vocals were so phenomenal, Selena's vocals were super phenomenal in her contribution, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal and super fun. Hopefully this should do well on there.

AJR - World's Smallest Violin: So this song is actually from their 2021 album Ok Orchestra and it has been gone viral on TikTok recently so that's why it's on there. As far as the song goes, it's also an amazing song. But definitely not as good as I Won't, but it's still amazing. For my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Jack's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

Blackpink - Pink Venom: They have now made their return on the countdown after Rose and Lisa of the group made solo singles last year and both of them being Hit Bound dropouts. As far as this new song goes, it's also an amazing song. As for my opinion, the production was so amazing, the vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Post Malone/Doja Cat - I Like You (A Happier Song): Again I'm still fine with this song still in the Top 5 and still standing at that spot. But once again if it moves up and gets to the Top 3 soon, I'll still give credit to it. But I'm not sure if it's actually going to happen though, but we're gonna have to see.

4. Charlie Puth/Jung Kook - Left And Right: I'm still waiting for this song to come back to the Top 3, but I'm sure hoping it'll be back in there next week.

3. Marshmello/Khalid - Numb: Yeah I'm not sure if it's ever going to be at the top spot, but again it might hang around in the Top 5 for a little bit longer.

2. Nicky Youre/Dazy - Sunroof: I'm still good with this song still in the Top 3, but I'm sure it's going to be on it's way out of here very soon. Maybe it'll stay in the Top 3 for a few more weeks and then be on it's way out.

1. Harry Styles - Late Night Talking: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still in there. And I'm sure that this song is gonna stay in the top spot for a little while longer. But let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Demi Lovato - 29

2. John Legend/Saweetie - All She Wanna Do (DEBUT)

3. Ashe - Emotional

4. Elton John/Britney Spears - Hold Me Closer

5. Ava Max - Million Dollar Baby (DEBUT)

6. Bazzi - Heaven

7. Cheat Codes/Russell Dickerson - I Remember

8. Louis Tomlinson - Bigger Than Me (DEBUT)

9. Anees - Sun And Moon

10. Jvke - Golden Hour (DEBUT)

11. Blackbear - Dead Inside

12. Havanna Winter - Rain Rain Go Away

13. Rema/Selena Gomez - Calm Down

14. Talk - Run Away To Mars

15. Armani White - Billie Eilish (DEBUT)

16. Role Model - Cross Your Mind

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

John Legend/Saweetie - All She Wanna Do: This is absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, John's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, the chorus was super phenomenal, and Saweetie's rapping in her verse was super phenomenal and she flows very nicely in it. But yeah, phenomenal song overall. I'm really hoping that this should make the countdown soon.

Ava Max - Million Dollar Baby: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And of course this is one of the songs that was off of her upcoming album that's unfortunately been delayed until January, but that's okay. As for this new song, it's definitely another heavenly song and it's actually a step up from Maybe You're The Problem. With my opinion, the production was super phenomenal, Ava's vocals were pretty heavenly like always, I'm definitely a humongous fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super heavenly. I'm sure hoping that this should make the countdown very soon.

Louis Tomlinson - Bigger Than Me: He has made his return on there after 2 years off of making new music. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as We Made It, but it's actually a step up from Don't Let It Break Your Heart. As for my opinion, the production was so amazing, Louis's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal and marvelous. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Jvke - Golden Hour: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but my gosh this song is just garbage. I remember when he brought us This Is What Falling In Love Feels Like, and I've been hating this song back then. And now, for this new song, it's also garbage and maybe even worse than This Is What Falling In Love Feels Like. For my opinion, the production was so bland, Jvke's vocals were so awful, the lyrics were so bad and they don't fit very well with the song, and my gosh the chorus was total garbage. This is definitely going to end up in my Bottom 10 Songs of the year if it makes the countdown. I'm sure hoping it doesn't make the countdown.

Armani White - Billie Eilish: This is just a mediocre song. In fact, the song is not even 2 minutes long, it's just over 1:30 which isn't really good. With my opinion on this one, the production was fine here, but the rapping doesn't sound good here and I'm not really huge on the chorus. But the lyrics were still nicely-written I guess, so I'll give credit to that. But this is mediocre overall. And I'm not sure if it's actually going to make the countdown because of how long the song is. But let's see if it does soon.
