#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits (2 of 5 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Ellie Goulding/Big Sean - Easy Lover (+15) take the biggest jump into the Top 10 this week. What a week for them! And hopefully it'll go to the Top 5 soon.

I'm not too thrilled to see Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) (-12) take the biggest drop. It's currently doing super well on the pop radio charts and it really doesn't deserve to take it. But hopefully it'll move back up starting next week.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Steve Lacy - Bad Habit: He has now made his first countdown appearance this week. Now, I've actually known him because I've heard Dark Red on Alt Nation during Advanced Placement back in 2017, and I've been enjoying it back then. As for this new song, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Dark Red, but it's still phenomenal. For my opinion, the production was super amazing, Steve's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Fletcher - Becky's So Hot: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Bitter. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Fletcher's vocals were super phenomenal, those lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and I really fell in love with it. But yeah, overall it's such a phenomenal song for me to listen to. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

Jax - Victoria's Secret: The best countdown debut this week. I actually liked the music video for the song because her daughter or the girl that she babysits with I believe was featured in it but I really can't think of her name. And I've actually seen some Instagram reels of them and I really love them. Hopefully I'll find out who that girl was in the music video as soon as I know her name. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Jax's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll do amazing on there.

Harry Styles - Music For A Sushi Restaurant: Since Late Night Talking hit the top spot last week, this song has now made it's automatic debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Late Night Talking, but it's still amazing. As for my opinion, the production was so amazing, Harry's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. And I'm sure this is going to end up becoming a hit on there because it's him. Hopefully it'll happen.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Shawn Mendes - When You're Gone: Well I do know this song has been losing airplay on the pop radio charts recently so I'm sure this is going to be it's last week in the Top 5, and then it'll start being on it's way out of here.

4. Ava Max - Maybe You're The Problem: I'm not sure if it's actually going to be in the Top 3, but I'm pretty sure it's going to start dropping very soon.

3. Lizzo - About Damn Time: I'm glad that it's still in the Top 3, but I'd like it to stay in there for at least one more week at the very least. But let's see what happens next.

2. Harry Styles - Late Night Talking: It dropped out of the top spot. But it sure did had a nice time there last week. But maybe this might come back to the top spot sometime soon mainly because it's him. Let's see what happens then.

1. Nicky Youre/Dazy - Sunroof: Wow, I did not expect this song to come back to the top spot, but I'm so pleased that it managed to do it. Although I'm sure another song might take over the top spot next week, but let's see how long it could stay in there on it's second run.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Calvin Harris/Charlie Puth/Shenseea - Obsessed

2. Tate McRae - What Would You Do

3. DJ Khaled/Drake/Lil Baby - Staying Alive

4. Amelia Moore - Love Me Or Leave Me Alone (DEBUT)

5. Megan Thee Stallion - Her (DEBUT)

6. Mergui - Sucks To Know You (FU)

7. Blackbear/The Used - Toxic Energy

8. Huddy - All The Things I Hate About You (DEBUT)

9. Marshmello/Mae Muller/Trippie Redd - American Psycho

10. Rosa Linn - Snap

11. Leah Kate - Life Sux

12. Dixie D'Amelio - Someone To Blame

13. Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl (DEBUT)

14. James Hype/Miggy Dela Rosa - Ferrari (DEBUT)

15. Steve Lacy - Bad Habit

16. Havanna Winter - Rain Rain Go Away

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Amelia Moore - Love Me Or Leave Me Alone: We've now picked up a new song from her after becoming the One To Watch a couple months ago. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from I Feel Everything. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Amelia's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was definitely what I stand for. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Megan Thee Stallion - Her: So she has put out a new album this pass week, and this is actually one of the songs that was off of the album. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely another phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was super amazing, Megan's vocals were so phenomenal especially in her rapping, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Huddy - All The Things I Hate About You: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this song was definitely garbage. I know he used to be Lil Huddy but now he changed his stage name. And I do know he sounds bad in The Eulogy Of You And Me, and of course that was a song that I hate back then. And now, as for this new song, it's definitely not as bad as The Eulogy Of You And Me, but it's still garbage. As for my opinion, the production was so boring, Huddy's vocals were so bad, the lyrics don't fit very well with the song, and the chorus was just bland. So yeah, not a good song for me to listen to overall. Hopefully it doesn't debut the countdown.

Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. We now have the big return of her after a long hiatus of making new music. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal and very groovy, Nicki's vocals were super phenomenal especially in the verses, those lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should make the countdown soon.

James Hype/Miggy Dela Rosa - Ferrari: This is just a decent song. There isn't really anything interesting to say about it. Though I do still like the production here for the most part, but the drop actually sounds weird and underwhelming. Although James and Miggy's vocals both sound okay but not really the best. But I still do love the lyrics here because they're still very nicely-written. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
