#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Ed Sheeran - Shivers (8 of 14 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased about Nicky Youre - Eyes On You (+14) taking the biggest jump. This totally deserves it! And I'm sure hoping that it should go to the Top 10 soon.

I'm not too thrilled about Rosa Linn - Snap (-11) taking the biggest drop all the way to the bottom spot of the Top 20 from the Top 10. But I do have a feeling that it might be out of here soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

K. Flay - It's Been So Long: The best countdown debut this week. She has finally made her first countdown appearance on there this week. Now, I've actually been hearing a lot of her songs on Alt Nation before this song made it on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an extremely heavenly song. With my opinion on this song, the production was super heavenly, her vocals were extremely heavenly, the lyrics were extremely heavenly, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 3 Songs of the year. And now, we found all 10 songs of this year that are going to make the list. And of course it's almost the end of the year so I'm gonna be doing some Year-End posts coming soon. So look forward to those. But in the meantime, let's see how far this one should get on there.

Gayle/Blackbear - FMK: This is absolutely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as ABCDEFU, but it's actually a step up from Ur Just Horny. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Gayle's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, the chorus was so heavenly, and Blackbear's vocals in his verse were super phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.

Omar Apollo - Evergreen (You Didn't Deserve Me At All): I'm okay with this song coming back in there. It's just a mediocre song, so I'll still give credit to it. Now, let's see how this one does on it's second run.

Sabrina Carpenter - Nonsense: She has finally made her return on there after Fast Times dropped out of Hit Bound earlier this year. As far as the song goes, it's such another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Fast Times, but it's still phenomenal. For my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Sabrina's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how far this one should get on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Jax - Victoria's Secret: I'm so pleased to see it come back to the Top 5. And of course I'd like it to stay in there for a few more weeks longer at the very least, but I'm not sure if it's actually going to happen.

4. Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me: I actually don't want this song to be out of the Top 3, I sure would like to see it at the top spot, but I don't think it's ever going to happen though.

3. Lil Nas X - Star Walkin': I'm fine with this song in the Top 3. But I don't think it's ever going to be at the top spot. Even if it does, I'll still give credit to it. Let's see if it'll happen soon.

2. Sam Smith/Kim Petras - Unholy: I have a feeling that this song might hold at this spot because of what's going on at the top spot or something. But again it might drop out of here soon.

1. Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero: Holding the top spot for the 4th week in a row. Gosh, this song sure has been doing so amazing on there recently mainly because it's her. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Lizzo - Special

2. Martin Garrix/Jvke - Hero (DEBUT)

3. Isabel LaRosa - I'm Yours

4. Metro Boomin/The Weeknd/21 Savage - Creepin' (DEBUT)

5. SZA - Shirt (DEBUT)

6. Ava Max - Weapons

7. Lewis Capaldi - Pointless

8. Lila Drew - Used To

14. Jordi - Hate You

15. Nicki Minaj/Maluma/Myriam Fares - Tukoh Taka

16. Joji - Die For You

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Martin Garrix/Jvke - Hero: I know he has been such an extremely talented EDM producer, but this song is actually decent because he collaborated with an artist that I don't really like. Now, let's get to my opinion. The production was actually so amazing, but Jvke's vocals still don't sound good here and the chorus was decent. But the lyrics were still so nicely-written and the drop was actually so phenomenal. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Metro Boomin/The Weeknd/21 Savage - Creepin': So he has put out a new album recently and this is one of the songs that was off of it. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, Metro Boomin's production was so amazing, Abel's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, the chorus was so phenomenal, and 21 Savage's rapping in his verse was so amazing. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

SZA - Shirt: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. This is such another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as I Hate U, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, SZA's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. So yeah, this is such a phenomenal and fun song overall for me to listen to. Let's see if this should make the countdown soon.

Raye/070 Shake - Escapism: So this song has been out for a couple months but it seems like that it's going viral on TikTok or something. And I've actually known about her since 2019 in case you don't know. As far as this song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Raye's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, the chorus was super phenomenal, and 070 Shake's rapping in his verse was actually so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
