AT40: Miley Cyrus (2) Week Of March 11, 2023

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it actually looks so amazing, because one of our debuts this week was going to be in my top songs of the year. And we also got rid of another piece of trash as well, so that's always an amazing thing to see. And there's also been quite some more amazing stuff happening on there this week. But I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like what I always do. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Justin Bieber - Ghost (2nd and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased about Lizzo/SZA - Special (+10) taking the biggest jump into the Top 20 this week. This really deserves it! Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 10 soon.

Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me (-8) sure has been losing lots of airplay on the pop radio charts recently and that's what made it take the biggest drop this week. Though I'm sure it's definitely going to be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

Latto/Lu Kala - Lottery: The best debut this week. This is definitely the best song that I've ever heard from her and it's definitely a huge step up from all of her other songs. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. Woth my opinion on this song, the production was so heavenly, Latto's rapping in the verses was super heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and Lu Kala's vocals in the chorus were extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Renee Rapp - Too Well: She has now made her first ever appearance on there this week. And I've actually known her before this song because I know she launched her career on Broadway appearing in Mean Girls back in 2019 as a teenager, which I think is super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Renee's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was pretty heavenly. Let's see how far this one gets on there.

PinkPantheress - Boy's A Liar: She has also made her first countdown appearance this week. Now, there's actually 2 versions of this song, one is the original version where they just played, and there's the one with Ice Spice where Hits 1 actually played. But they actually played the original version of it here. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Where You Are, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, PinkPantheress's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.

Niall Horan - Heaven: He has finally made his return on there after a long while from making new music. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Niall's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Here's to hoping that it should do amazing on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. SZA - Kill Bill: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm so pleased to see this song in there. This really deserves it! And I'm sure hoping that it'll go to the Top 3 soon.

4. Sam Smith/Kim Petras - Unholy: Yeah I'm sure this song is going to spend a few more weeks in the Top 5 and then be on it's way out of here. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.

3. The Weeknd - Die For You: I'm still pleased with this song still in the Top 3, but again I'm sure it's going to be out of here pretty soon. But let's see what happens next.

2. Metro Boomin/The Weeknd/21 Savage - Creepin': Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot on there because of what's going on in there currently. But maybe it might leave the Top 3 and be on it's way out of here soon.

1. Miley Cyrus - Flowers: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased that it's still in there. And yes, I'm sure this song is going to stay in there for a while. Let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
