AT40: Taylor Swift (3) Week Of January 28, 2023
As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, however we did get rid of a song that was in my Top 10 Songs of last year, and of course it will forever be missed. But we do have some more interesting debuts this week and that of course I'll get to them later on in this post like what I always do. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Adele - Easy On Me (8th and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm super glad to see Rema/Selena Gomez - Calm Down (+8) take the biggest jump. And it's almost in the Top 20 so hopefully it'll be in there next week.
Rihanna - Lift Me Up and Sia - Unstoppable (-4) were both tied for the biggest drop this week as they've been losing some airplay recently. And I'm sure that they might be out of here very soon.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Oliver Tree/Robin Schulz - Miss You: This is absolutely a phenomenal and super fun song and it's actually a step up from Life Goes On. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Oliver's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly and super fun. So yeah, fun song overall. Let's see how far this one should get on there.
SZA - Kill Bill: The best debut this week. Although I know they should've picked up Nobody Gets Me before this song, but that's okay. This is definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Nobody Gets Me. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, SZA's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl: Wow, this song sure must be enjoying the Top 5 on there. But again I'm sure it's going to be out of here next week.
4. The Weeknd - Die For You: How is this song still standing at this spot? I was still waiting for this song to be in the Top 3, but hopefully next week it'll be in there.
3. Sam Smith/Kim Petras - Unholy: It dropped out of the top spot again. But it sure did had a nice time back there last week. But I'm sure it's going to leave the Top 3 within the next week or so.
2. David Guetta/Bebe Rexha - I'm Good (Blue): It's almost at the top spot! Although I'm not sure if it'll actually be at the top spot, but I'm really hoping that it does soon.
1. Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero: I'm so pleased to see this song back at the top spot. I was actually expecting it to happen, and it did. And maybe it might hold the spot longer than it's previous run in there. Let's see how long it could hold the spot.
