Taylor Swift (2) Week Of June 17, 2023
As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, however we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my Top 10 Songs of the year, and of course it will forever be missed. But we do have an interesting Top 5 this week, which of course I'll get to it later on in this post like what I always do. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Harry Styles - As It Was (6 of 8 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Harry Styles - Satellite (+14) take the biggest jump to the Top 10. This really deserves it! And hopefully this should go to the Top 5 soon.
I'm not too thrilled about The 1975 - I'm In Love With You (-12) taking the biggest drop. Why would it do that? That's so not cool. But I'm sure it's going to be out of here soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Lil Durk/J. Cole - All My Life: This is just a decent song. There really isn't anything interesting to say about it. Though the piano-driven trap production doesn't sound good here, but Lil Durk and J. Cole's verses were actually so amazing here and I don't mind the lyrics because I think they're still so nicely-written. Though the chorus here was decent but I don't really like the choir vocals in it. But yeah, this is decent overall. Let's see how this one does on there.
P!nk - Trustfall: This is the only great debut we have this week. And this was actually the title track of her album, which was so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Never Gonna Not Dance Again, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, P!nk's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one gets on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Ed Sheeran - Eyes Closed: Well I actually don't want this song to drop, but I'm sure it's going to be out of the Top 5 very soon.
4. Dua Lipa - Dance The Night: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm super pleased to see this song in there. And I'm sure this might end up being at the top spot soon. Let's see if it does.
3. Post Malone - Chemical: NO! This song does not deserve to go to the Top 3! Come on, we don't want this song to be at the top spot. This should be banned from it!
2. Jonas Brothers - Waffle House: Yeah I'm not sure if it'll actually go to the top spot in there, but maybe it might leave the Top 3 anytime soon.
1. Taylor Swift/Ice Spice - Karma: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased to see this song still at this spot. And I'm sure this might hold there for a few more weeks because we all know who she is. Let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Nicky Youre - Good Times Go
2. Madison Beer - Home To Another One
3. Doechii - What It Is (Block Boy)
4. Crash Adams - Lucky
5. Niall Horan - If You Leave Me
6. Kali - Area Codes
7. PinkPantheress - Angel
8. Charlie Puth/Kimin/Jvke/Muni Long - Angel Pt. 2 (DEBUT)
9. Jessie Murph/Maren Morris - Texas
10. Dominic Fike - Mona Lisa (DEBUT)
11. Bailey Bryan - IYKYK
12. Benson Boone - In The Stars (RE-ENTRY)
13. Doja Cat - Attention (DEBUT)
14. Havanna Winter - Tornado (DEBUT)
15. Pitbull/Lil Jon - Jumpin
16. Devon Cole - 1-800-Got-Stress (DEBUT)
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Charlie Puth/Jimin/Jvke/Muni Long - Angel Pt. 2: So they actually switched to Pt. 2 instead of Pt. 1, which I think is better because I think Charlie's vocals were actually so amazing in his verse and he sounds better than Kodak. Though Jvke's vocals still don't sound good here and Jimin's vocals were still solid and Muni still sounds the best here. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
Dominic Fike - Mona Lisa: After Dancing In The Courthouse left last month, this song has now made it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, this is also an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Dancing In The Courthouse, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Dominic's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Benson Boone - In The Stars: Wow... there's no way in heck that this should come back in there since it was a dropout last year. But I'm pleased to see it back. Now, let's see if this should have another chance to be on the countdown soon.
Doja Cat - Attention: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. So she put out a new single yesterday from her upcoming album, which I think is so amazing. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Doja's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should make the countdown soon.
Havanna Winter - Tornado: Hits 1 has now picked up all 5 of her songs except from her Christmas song, which I think is so interesting. And after having 3 Hit Bound dropouts last year, this song has now made it's debut on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Havanna's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. But I don't think it's ever going to be on the countdown because it's her, but let's see if it does soon.
Devon Cole - 1-800-Got-Stress: We've now picked up a new single from her after W.I.T.C.H. dropped out of Hit Bound last year. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from W.I.T.C.H. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Devon's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon. But I'm not sure if it's going to, but hopefully it does.
