Crash Adams (1) Week Of July 29, 2023

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it actually looks so amazing. We do have another brand new #1 song on there, which was a nice thing to see. But we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my Top 10 Songs of the year, and of course it will forever be missed. But one of our debuts this week was going to be in my top songs of the year, but I'm gonna get more on that later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Lizzo - About Damn Time (1st and only week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Dominic Fike - Mona Lisa (+8) take the biggest jump for gaining some airplay this week. What a week it has been for him!

I'm also pleased to see Post Malone - Chemical (-10) take the biggest drop all the way out of the Top 10 from the Top 3. This totally deserves it! And now this needs to be out of here very soon. I've had enough of him!

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Lil Durk/Morgan Wallen - Stand By Me: Though this wasn't the first time that they collaborated because they also collaborated on Broadway Girls, which Hits 1 should've picked up even though that was a decent song for me. But this new song is actually an amazing song for me and it's actually a step up from Broadway Girls. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Lil Durk's vocals in the verses were super amazing and way better than on Broadway Girls, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and Morgan's vocals in the chorus were so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.

Zayn - Love Like This: He has finally made his return on the countdown after 5 years off of making new music. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Let Me, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was super amazing, Zayn's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how far this gets on there.

Fall Out Boy - We Didn't Start The Fire: The best countdown debut this week. So this is actually their cover of Billy Joel's hit song from 1989, except they changed some of the lyrics. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an extremely heavenly song and this is definitely the best song that I've ever heard from them. It's definitely a huge step up from Hold Me Like A Grudge and all of their other songs. With my opinion on this song, the production was extremely heavenly, Patrick's vocals were extremely heavenly, the lyrics were extremely heavenly, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up as my #1 song of the year. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.

Tomorrow X Together/Jonas Brothers - Do It Like That: This was actually their first ever countdown appearance this week. Although I wish Hits 1 should've picked up Magic a couple years ago, but they just didn't do it. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Magic, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, everybody sound super amazing here, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Fifty Fifty - Cupid: They have now made their first ever Top 5 appearance on there. I'm so pleased to see it in there. But I don't think it's ever going to be in the Top 3, but let's see what happens next.

4. Jonas Brothers - Waffle House: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice stay in there for a few weeks. But I'm sure this might be out of the Top 5 sometime soon.

3. Dua Lipa - Dance The Night: Finally it's about time for this song to be in the Top 3. I'm super pleased to see it in there, though I don't think it's ever going to be at the top spot, but let's see if it does soon.

2. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer: It's almost at the top spot! And I'm sure this song is going to end up being at the top spot within the next week or so. Let's see if it'll happen.

1. Crash Adams - Give Me A Kiss: This is now their first ever #1 song on there. I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot, although I'm sure another song might take over this spot next week, but let's see how long it could hold the spot.

Now, let's Review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Fifty Fifty/Kaliii - Barbie Dreams

2. Post Malone - Enough Is Enough (DEBUT)

15. will.i.am/Britney Spears - Mind Your Business

16. Jelly Roll - Need A Favor

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Post Malone - Enough Is Enough: WHY DO WE NEED MORE OF HIS MUSIC?????!!!!! Well I do know this song has made it's debut on there after Chemical hit the Top 5 on the countdown so that's why it's there. As far as the song goes, it's also another garbage song. With my opinion, the production is so horrible, Post's vocals were so awful like always, and the chorus was absolutely garbage. But I still think the lyrics were so interesting. But this is garbage overall. Hopefully this doesn't debut the countdown.

Tori Kelly - Cut: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Missin U. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Tori's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. But yeah, overall it's such a phenomenal song for me to listen to and I'm really hoping that it should make the countdown soon.

Busted/Jonas Brothers - Year 3000 2.0: So this is actually a remake of Busted's 2002 song Year 3000, which I think is so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, everyone sound super amazing here especially Joe Jonas's because he actually sounds the best here. And the lyrics were so interesting and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Charli XCX - Speed Drive: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Gosh, we sure have been picking up lots of songs from the Barbie soundtrack recently. Now I feel like I wanna watch this movie. As far as this song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Beg For You, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Charli's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Travis Scott/Bad Bunny/The Weeknd - K-Pop: So he has put out a new album recently and this is one of the songs that was off of the album. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song. There really isn't anything interesting to say about it. Though I really love the production here, but I don't think Travis sounded that good here and Bad Bunny's part was awful. But Abel's vocals in the chorus were so amazing and I think the lyrics are still so interesting. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Presley Regier - Fly: We've now picked up a new single from him after Nevermind dropped out of Hit Bound. As far as this song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's definitely a step up from Nevermind. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Presley's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super nice, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully this should be his first ever countdown appearance since Nevermind failed to do it.
