#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Nicky Youre/Dazy - Sunroof (3 of 5 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Fall Out Boy - Hold Me Like A Grudge (+6) take the biggest jump and gain more airplay this week. It really deserves to take it! And I'm sure hoping that it should go to the Top 10 soon.

I'm not really that thrilled about The 1975 - I'm In Love With You (-5) taking the biggest drop, but I do have a felling that it might be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Jung Kook/Latto - Seven: This is the only great debut we have this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Jung Kook's vocals were super amazing especially in his flow, the lyrics were so interesting, the chorus was so phenomenal and Latto's vocals in her verse were actually so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one gets on there.

David Kushner - Daylight: I'm super pleased to see this song come back in there. I actually didn't expect it to happen, but it managed to do it! And again this song is going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year in case you won't forget. Let's see how this one does on it's second run in there.

Billie Eilish - What Was I Made For: This is another song that was taken from the soundtrack of the upcoming Barbie movie, which I think is so interesting. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song. She's still not that good of a singer. With my opinion, the production was decent, Billie's vocals were decent, and the chorus was decent. But I still love the lyrics, because I think they're still very nicely-written. But this is decent overall. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer: I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the Top 3. But hopefully next week it'll be in there.

4. Dua Lipa - Dance The Night: I'm also still waiting for this song to get to the Top 3. But I'm sure it'll be in there soon.

3. Post Malone - Chemical: Yes, this song is dropping! It really deserves to drop. And this needs to be out of the Top 3 next week hopefully.

2. Crash Adams - Give Me A Kiss: It's almost at the top spot! Although I'm not sure if it'll actually be in there, but can this be their first #1 song on there? We're gonna have to find out soon.

1. Jonas Brothers - Waffle House: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. Well thank goodness it's actually blocking Chemical from going to the top spot, but I'm sure another song might take over this spot, but let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Jelly Roll - Need A Favor

2. NewJeans - Super Shy (DEBUT)

3. Crash Adams - Sugar Mommy

4. Charlieonafriday - I'm Not Crazy (DEBUT)

15. Troye Sivan - Rush

16. Anna Delvey/Brooke Butler/Audio Chateau - What The Hell (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

NewJeans - Super Shy: Gosh, how many new K-Pop girl group bands have we picked up recently? As far as this song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, all of the girls sound so phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Although I'm not sure if it'll be on the countdown, but let's see if it does soon.

Charlieonafriday - I'm Not Crazy: This is absolutely a heavenly song and this is actually the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a humongous step up from That's What I Get and all of his other songs. In fact, the song itself samples Matchbox Twenty's 2003 hit song Unwell, which I think is so phenomenal because it was actually one of their biggest hits of the 2000's. But let's get to my opinion. The production was super heavenly, Charlie's vocals were super heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 5 Songs of the year when it makes the countdown. Hopefully it does soon.

Noah Kahan/Post Malone - Dial Drunk: Does anybody remember him? He brought us Hurt Somebody with Julia Michaels back in 2018, and that was a song that I actually enjoyed back then. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song because they actually played the remix with Post Malone in it, and he was a terrible singer in my opinion. Though the production still sounds outstanding and Noah's vocals still sound super outstanding. But of course Post's vocals were awful in his contribution. But I think the chorus is still so amazing and the lyrics were still nice. So yeah, this remix is decent overall. I actually prefer the original version over this. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

will.i.am/Britney Spears - Mind Your Business: So they have collaborated again after 10 years since we have Scream & Shout on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as Scream & Shout, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, both will.i.am and Britney sound super amazing and they have really good chemistry here, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Teddy Swims - Lose Control: Gosh, we sure have lots of brand new artists that we've been picking up on here recently. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Teddy's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.

Zayn - Love Like This: He has finally made his return on there after 5 years off of making new music. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Let Me, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was super amazing, Zayn's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam: This was actually her first song on Hits 1 since 2007, which I think is super interesting. So she had 16 years off of making new music, and now she's finally made her humongous return on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a a super heavenly song. With my opinion on this song, the production was super heavenly and sounds a bit like a Tiesto song, Kylie's vocals were extremely heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 5 Songs of the year when it debuts the countdown. Hopefully it'll do it soon.

Lil Durk/Morgan Wallen - Stand By Me: Though this was not the first time they've collaborated because they also collaborated on the song Broadway Girls, which Hits 1 should've picked up even though that was a decent song for me. But this new song is actually amazing for me and it's actually a step up from Broadway Girls. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Lil Durk's vocals in the verses were super amazing and way better than on Broadway Girls, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and Morgan's vocals in the chorus were so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Diplo/Jessie Murph/Polo G - Heartbroken: This actually sounds like a country song production-wise even though it's from an EDM artist. But this is such a phenomenal song for me. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Jessie's vocals were pretty phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, the chorus was so heavenly, and Polo G's rapping in his verse was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll make the countdown soon.

Anna Delvey/Brooke Butler/Audio Chateau - What The Hell: How on earth did they find this song? It had like 1,200 streams on Spotify. And Brooke does the singing, Audio Chateau does the country-leaning production and Anna was the one saying "My name is Anna Delvey". To me, that was like the weirdest thing a song could have ever done. But this is still a phenomenal song for me. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Brooke's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Though I'm not sure if it'll actually be on the countdown, but let's see if it does soon.
