AT40: SZA (1) Week Of November 4, 2023
So we are now officially in the month of November which means we only have 2 months left of the year. Gosh, time sure is flying by so fast. And of course, some FM radio stations are starting to play Christmas music since we are now in the holiday spirit. I'm really looking forward to see what new Christmas music we have this year. Hopefully it'll be a great one! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks super interesting. We do have yet another brand new #1 song on there, but I'm gonna get to it later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Doja Cat - Vegas (1 of 3 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back! (+5) take the biggest jump. It sure has been gaining airplay this week. What a week for her! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 20 soon.
I'm not too thrilled about Timbaland/Nelly Furtado/Justin Timberlake - Keep Going Up (-5) taking the biggest drop. This does not deserve to take it! But I do have a feeling that this might be the end of it.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Zara Larsson/David Guetta - On My Love: Although this wasn't actually the first time those two collaborated because I know the last time they collaborated was This One's For You back in 2016 which they should've picked up back then. But as far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as This One's For You, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Zara's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus and drop were so heavenly. Let's see how far this one gets on there.
Loud Luxury/Two Friends/Bebe Rexha - If Only I: The best debut this week. This is absolutely another phenomenal EDM song and it's actually a step up from These Nights. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Bebe's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus and drop both sound so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Doechii - What It Is (Block Boy): I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the Top 3. But hopefully it'll do it next week.
4. Nicki Minaj/Ice Spice/Aqua - Barbie World: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice time in there last week. But I'm sure it's about to be on it's way out of here.
3. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer: Yeah I'm sure this song is going to hang around in the Top 3 for a few more weeks longer at the very least. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.
2. Doja Cat - Paint The Town Red: It's almost at the top spot! I'm super pleased to see it move up and into the Top 3. Now, I'd really like this song to go to the top spot within the next week or so. Hopefully it'll happen!
1. SZA - Snooze: I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. It deserves it! But I'm sure another song might take over the top spot within the next week or so, but let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
