#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Lizzo - 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) (1 of 3 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

We had 3 songs that were tied for the biggest jump this week and those were Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam which I'm super pleased to see, then there's Paul Russell - Lil Boo Thang which I'm also pleased to see, and finally there's Tate McRae - Greedy (+7), which took the biggest jump all the way to the top spot. I actually didn't expect this song to be at this spot, but I'm pleased that it's in there. But I'm gonna have more on that later. But what a week it has been for those three!

I'm not too thrilled to see Teddy Swims - Lose Control (-11) take the biggest drop. This does not deserve it! But I'm sure it might come back up sometime soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Willow Avalon - Stranger: So Hits 1 is bringing back the "Hits 1 To Watch" program after over a whole year since the last one. Though I actually didn't think it was going to happen, but I'm glad that it's back because we need some more new artists on there. But anyways. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Willow's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.

Ice Spice/Rema - Pretty Girl: So she has put out a new single last week, and now it has made it's debut on the countdown this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Ice Spice's rapping in the verses was so phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and Rema's vocals in the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back!: The best countdown debut this week. So she has released her new album Guts last month and this was one of the songs that was off of the album. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Bad Idea Right. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Olivia's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll become a hit on there.

Jung Kook/Jack Harlow - 3D: This song re-entered the countdown as he replaces himself on there. I'm pleased to see this song back on there. Now, let's see how this one does on it's second run on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Olivia Rodrigo - Bad Idea Right?: No, this does not deserve to drop. This seriously needs to be in the Top 3. Although we did get a new song from her this week on there so I'm sure this might be leaving soon.

4. The Weeknd/Playboi Carti/Madonna - Popular: This song does not deserve to drop either! Can we seriously please get this song back to the Top 3 and get to the top spot and not leave the Top 5? This needs to happen soon.

3. Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice run in there for a couple weeks. Though I'd like it to stay in the Top 3 for a couple more weeks longer and then be on it's way out of here.

2. Doechii - What It Is (Block Boy): I actually didn't expect this song to come back to the Top 3, but again I don't think it's ever going to hit the top spot on there. But maybe it might go out of the Top 3 again sometime very soon.

1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Thanks to it's biggest jump this week, this song has made it's debut in the Top 5 all the way to the top spot. Again I'm so pleased to see this song in there. This is now her first ever #1 song on there, which was amazing. And again I didn't actually expect it to be at that spot, but it somehow managed to do it. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Henry Moodie - Pick Up The Phone

2. The Chainsmokers/Gracey - Think Of Us (DEBUT)

3. The Rose - Back To Me

4. Claire Rosinkranz - Swinging At The Stars

5. Blink-182 - Fell In Love (DEBUT)

6. Jenna Raine - It Is What It Is

7. Dove Cameron - Lethal Woman (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

The Chainsmokers/Gracey - Think Of Us: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. This is absolutely another heavenly song. But unfortunately Andrew Taggart did not do the vocals. He worked on the production this time. I thought he did an amazing job on the production and it sounds super phenomenal here. And Gracey's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Blink-182 - Fell In Love: So they just dropped their new album yesterday, and this was one of the songs that was off of the album. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from One More Time. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, the vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Dove Cameron - Lethal Woman: I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this song was definitely another garbage song. There really is nothing good to say about it. The production and the vibes are weird, Dove's vocals still sound awful, and the chorus was absolutely garbage. But I'll still give credit to the lyrics because I think they're still interesting. But this is not a good song overall. And it's also only 2 minutes long, which sucks. This better not be on the countdown.

The Kid Laroi/Jung Kook/Central Cee - Too Much: This is just a decent song. There really isn't anything interesting to say about it. Though I'm not really huge on the production here, but Laroi's vocals still sound outstanding and I actually like Central Cee's verse. I think he also sounds outstanding in it. And Jung Kook's vocals in the chorus were actually so amazing and I don't mind the lyrics because I think they're still so nicely-written. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
