Tate McRae (3) Week Of November 4, 2023

So the month of November is here, and that means we are starting to get into the holiday spirit which was exciting. Also, some FM radio stations are starting to play Christmas music and Holly is now on SiriusXM. I'm really looking forward to see what new Christmas music we have this year. Hopefully it'll be a great year for it! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, however we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year, which of course will forever be missed. But we still have some more amazing stuff happening on there this week. But I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Lizzo - 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) (3rd and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Teddy Swims - Lose Control (+6) move back up after taking the biggest drop 2 weeks ago. This deserves it! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 10 soon.

Nicki Minaj - Last Time I Saw You (-4) took a short biggest drop this week, which is actually not that bad even though I wasn't happy to see it. But I do have a feeling that this might be out of here sometime soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Alec Benjamin - Different Kind Of Beautiful: So it's already been 4 years since we've heard his childish voice so I was actually expecting him to get a new voice. So I decided to give this song a listen for the first time and... still nothing happened. He still has his childish voice. Gosh, when is he gonna grow up and get a much better voice? It has actually been like that for so long. But I gotta say, this is just a mediocre song. I still don't like his childish voice here, but the production actually sounds outstanding and the chorus was okay. But the lyrics were still so interesting, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is a mediocre song overall. Let's see how this one does on there.

Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: The best countdown debut this week. And I have exciting news for everybody! She has officially put out her re-recorded album that we've all been waiting for, and that is 1989 (Taylor's Version). I was really waiting for this to come out, and now it's finally here! As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Cruel Summer, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Taylor's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully it'll become a massive hit on there.

Tyla - Water: Does anybody remember her other song Been Thinking from earlier this year? Well, she's back. As far as this song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from Been Thinking. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Tyla's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young: Yeah I'd like this song to stay in the Top 5 for a couple more weeks longer and then be out of here. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.

4. Olivia Rodrigo - Bad Idea Right?: I'm pleased that it's moving up. Now, I'd like to see this song in the Top 3 within the next week or so.

3. Post Malone - Enough Is Enough: No! This does not deserve to go to the Top 3! Come on, this better not go to the top spot because I've seriously had enough of him!

2. Doechii - What It Is (Block Boy): Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot. But maybe it might go out of the Top 3 very soon.

1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. I'm pleased that it's still in there. It sure has been doing amazing on there recently. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Olivia Rodrigo - Can't Catch Me Now: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And this was actually one of the songs that was taken from the soundtrack of the new Hunger Games movie, which was actually super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Get Him Back, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Olivia's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Neiked/Ayra Starr - You're Hired: He has finally made his return on there after Better Days became a hit on there a couple years ago. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Better Days, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Ayra's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Matt Hansen - Something To Remember: I actually found him yet to be another talented singer after giving this song a first listen which was amazing. And now, here he is making his first ever appearance on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely another phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Matt's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Jung Kook - Standing Next To You: This is actually his first solo song on there which was interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a step up from 3D. With my opinion on this song, the production was so amazing, Jung Kook's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal and fun. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.

Mansionz - Optionz: Does anybody remember this group? They brought us Wicked back in 2017, and that was a song that I enjoyed back then. And this group also contains of Mike Posner and Blackbear, which I think is so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Wicked. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, both Mike and Blackbear sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Pitbull/Nile Rodgers - Freak 54 (Freak Out): This song actually samples Chic's 1978 hit song Le Freak, which was super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal and fun song and it's actually a step up from Jumpin'. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Pitbull's rapping in the verses was so phenomenal and he flows very nicely in them, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal and super fun. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
