AT40: Tate McRae (6) Week Of February 10, 2024
So the Super Bowl is this weekend. I'm so looking forward to watching it! The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs are playing in it this time. Now, both teams have played against each other back in 2020 before the pandemic. I'm going for the Chiefs to win this one. And I'm also looking forward to seeing Usher perform at the halftime show. Hopefully he does an amazing job on it! Hopefully he can perform some of his old songs. Hopefully it'll be a lot of fun! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so interesting. We do have quite another interesting Top 5 this week, but I'm gonna get to it later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
David Guetta/Bebe Rexha - I'm Good (Blue) (2nd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
AJR - Yes, I'm A Mess (+3) took a short biggest jump this week. Though I wish it would've gotten to the Top 20, but hopefully next week it'll be in there.
I'm fine with The Kid Laroi/Jung Kook/Central Cee - Too Much (-9) taking the biggest drop. Though it has been losing some airplay recently so I'm sure it'll be out of here within the next week or so.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Victoria Monet - On My Mama: The best debut this week. And of course we all remember her in her collaboration with Ariana Grande on Monopoly back in 2019 which should've been in there. But as far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Victoria's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.
P1Harmony - Fall In Love Again: We have yet another brand new K-Pop group making their first ever appearance on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, the vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how far this one goes on there.
Noah Kahan - Stick Season: I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely an outstanding song and it's definitely a step up from Dial Drunk. With my opinion, the production was so outstanding, Noah's vocals were super outstanding, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so amazing. So yeah, this is such an outstanding song overall for me to listen to. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: Gosh, this seriously needs to get going and get to the Top 3. Also, I will be seeing her at the Super Bowl because I've heard that she's in a relationship with Chiefs wide receiver Travis Kelce which was so interesting. But in the meantime, hopefully it'll move up next week.
4. Doja Cat - Agora Hills: I'm pleased to see this song make it's debut in the Top 5 this week. It really deserves to be in there! Now, let's see if it'll be in the Top 3 very soon.
3. Doja Cat - Paint The Town Red: I actually didn't expect this song to drop, but at least it's still in the Top 3 which was amazing. But I'm sure Agora Hills will replace this song in the Top 3 or something, but let's see what happens next.
2. Jack Harlow - Lovin On Me: It's almost at the top spot! I'm pleased to see it move up to that spot. Now, let's see if it'll be at the top spot soon.
1. Tate McRae - Greedy: Holding the top spot for the 6th week in a row. Gosh, this song sure has been doing super amazing on there recently. But I'm sure another song might take over the top spot very soon, but let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
