Dua Lipa (4) Week Of February 24, 2024

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it actually looks so phenomenal. We did say goodbye to a crappy song again and we now have no bad songs on there which was the best thing to see, and we've also had a debut this week that was going to be in my top songs of this year. And not only that, but we've also welcomed back a song that was in my top songs of last year which was actually so phenomenal. And we've also have an amazing Top 5 this week, but I'm gonna get to it later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Miley Cyrus - Flowers (3 of 6 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Jack Harlow - Lovin On Me, Noah Kahan - Stick Season, Thirty Seconds To Mars - Seasons and Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now (+6) were all tied for the biggest jump this week. I'm so pleased to see all of them do that. They all deserve it!

I'm not really too thrilled to see Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday Girls take the biggest drop. This does not deserve it! But what's also tied for the biggest drop this week was Doja Cat - Agora Hills which I'm also not too thrilled to see, and Olivia Rodrigo - Get Him Back! (-6) which dropped out of the Top 5 once again which I actually expected. But I'm sure this might be the end for them.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

MAX/Huh Yunjin - Stupid In Love: The best countdown debut this week. This is absolutely a heavenly song and this is actually the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a huge step up from Strings and all of his other songs. With my opinion on this one, the production was so heavenly, MAX's vocals were super heavenly, Huh Yunjin's vocals were also super heavenly in her contribution, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Jessie Murph/Jelly Roll - Wild Ones: I'm super duper pleased to see this song come back to the countdown. It's pretty exciting to see a song in my Top 10 Songs of last year re-enter the countdown this year. Now, hopefully this should do better on it's second run on there.

Dua Lipa - Training Season: Since Houdini hit the top spot, we now have this song making it's debut on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Houdini, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Dua's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: I'm so pleased to see this song come back to the Top 5. Now, this needs to get back to the Top 3 and get to the top spot.

4. Knox - Not The 1975: I'm pleased to see this song move up. Though I'm not sure if it'll actually go to the Top 3, but again let's see if it does soon.

3. Tate McRae - Exes: I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the top spot. Although I don't think it'll actually happen, but let's see what happens next.

2. Sabrina Carpenter - Feather: Yeah I'm sure this song might stay in the Top 3 for a couple more weeks and then be out of here. I'm sure this is never going to hit the top spot on there.

1. Dua Lipa - Houdini: Holding the top spot for the 4th week in a row. Gosh, this song sure has been doing super amazing on there recently. It really has been becoming a hit on there. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Selena Gomez - Love On: This is definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Single Soon. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Selena's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of and I believe they're about her relationship with Benny Blanco which was actually so interesting. And the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Knox - Me Myself & Your Eyes: He replaced himself yet again on there. And now that Not The 1975 hit the Top 5 on the countdown, we now have this song making it's debut on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Here's To Us. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Knox's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Jessie Murph - Son Of A: We've now picked up a new single from her after Wild Ones came back to the countdown this week. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Wild Ones, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Jessie's vocals were pretty phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

SZA - Saturn: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And it looks like that she's working on the deluxe edition of her album SOS, and here's one of the songs from it on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Snooze. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, SZA's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Justin Timberlake - Drown: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Selfish. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal and more upbeat, Justin's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. And I'm sure this is going to be on the countdown when Selfish hits the Top 10 or when it leaves or something. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
