Dua Lipa (5) Week Of March 2, 2024
So we are now officially in the month of March. So far the first 2 months are going amazing with music on there this year. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, however we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year, and of course it will forever be missed. However we do have some more interesting debuts this week. But like always, I'm gonna get to them later on in this post. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased to see Doja Cat - Agora Hills (+6) taking the biggest jump. It really has been gaining some airplay on there recently. Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 10 soon.
I'm not too thrilled to see Thirty Seconds To Mars - Seasons (-8) take the biggest drop after getting the biggest jump last week. Thos totally does not deserve it! But I'm sure this is going to be the end of it.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Knox - Me Myself & Your Eyes: The best countdown debut this week. And now he has 2 songs on the countdown and Not The 1975 is currently still in the Top 5 on there. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Here's To Us. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Knox's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.
Selena Gomez - Love On: This is definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Single Soon. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Selena's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of and I believe I found them that they're about her relationship with Benny Blanco which was actually so interesting. And the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Knox - Not The 1975: Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the Top 3 on there. But we do have a new song from him debuting the countdown so I'm sure this is going to be out of here soon.
4. Tate McRae - Exes: No, this does not deserve to drop out of the Top 3. But maybe it might not go to the top spot mainly because of what's going on in there.
3. Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: Finally I'm so pleased to see this song back in the Top 3. Now, this better get to the top spot. This better be her first #1 song on there after his boyfriend Travis Kelce won the Super Bowl a couple weeks ago. Hopefully it'll be in there very soon.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Feather: Gosh, this song sure has been in this spot for a few weeks. But yeah, I'm sure this is never going to hit the top spot on there.
1. Dua Lipa - Houdini: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. Wow, how on Earth has this song been doing super amazing on there recently? Though I have a feeling that this song is going to end up being the Flowers of 2024 because of how well it's doing. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Teddy Swims - The Door
2. Twenty One Pilots - Overcompensate (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Twenty One Pilots - Overcompensate: We haven't been hearing from them on there for almost 3 years. And of course I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Saturday, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Tyler's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Galantis/David Guetta/5 Seconds Of Summer - Lighter: The best countdown debut this week. Though this was actually not the first time that Galantis and David collaborated together because I know they've collaborated on Heartbreak Anthem with Little Mix and Damn with MNEK, and those were both songs that Hits 1 should've picked up because those were phenomenal songs. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Luke's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
Lay/Lauv - Run Back To You: Wow, we have a Chinese singer making his debut on there? That's super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Lay's vocals were super phenomenal, Lauv's vocals were so heavenly in his contribution, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
Surfaces/Jvke - Don't Let Me Down: Of course you probably remember that I hate Sunday Best 4 years ago and Wave Of You was decent for me and of course I don't really like Jvke's music. But I gotta say, this new song was decent. Of course the guy from Surfaces still doesn't sound good and Jvke's vocals in his verse were so bad and the chorus was decent, but the production was actually so amazing here and the lyrics were still so nicely-written, so I'll still give credit to them. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Liam Payne - Teardrops: We haven't heard from him since Midnight with Alesso became a hit back in 2020. And now, he's finally back. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Midnight, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, Liam's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Pharrell/Miley Cyrus - Doctor (Work It Out): This is absolutely another phenomenal song. Although I noticed that Pharrell didn't take on vocals in this song. He actually worked on the production instead. But as far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal and fun song. With my opinion, Pharrell's production was so phenomenal, Miley's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and fun. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
