Dua Lipa (7) Week Of March 16, 2024
As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks phenomenal, however we did say goodbye yet again to a song that was in my top songs of last year, and of course it will forever be missed. But we do have some more interesting debuts this week, but I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so pleased about Dua Lipa - Training Season (+12) gaining lots of airplay on there this week. What an amazing week it has been for her! Now, hopefully it'll go to the Top 10 soon.
I'm not really that thrilled to see Jack Harlow - Lovin On Me (-4) taking a short biggest drop, but at least it's still in the Top 20 which was a good thing. But I'm sure it's going to be out of here soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Twenty One Pilots - Overcompensate: They've finally made their return on there after almost 3 years. And of course I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Saturday, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this one, the production was super amazing, Tyler's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how far this gets on there.
Ariana Grande - We Can't Be Friends (Wait For Your Love): The best countdown debut this week. So she has released her album Eternal Sunshine last week, and now we have another song from it making it's debut on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Yes, And, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Ariana's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll do well on there.
Djo - End Of Beginning: I've also been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. And what I've noticed about him is that his real name was Joe Keery, who was an actor on Stranger Things which was super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Djo's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Knox - Not The 1975: I'm pleased that it's still in there once again. Though I actually didn't expect it to still be in there. But I'm sure this might be out of here soon.
4. Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now: Can we please let this song stop dropping? Come on, we all know who she is. And she's a no-stranger to the top spot on there so this needs to get back in the Top 3 and get to the top spot.
3. Tate McRae - Exes: I'm so pleased that it's back in the Top 3. I actually expected it to come back in there this week and it has managed to do it. But again I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot because of what's going on in here.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Feather: I'm sure this song was standing at this spot for too long because I know it's waiting to get to the top spot. But again I don't think it's ever going to be in there.
1. Dua Lipa - Houdini: Holding the top spot for the 7th week in a row. And now this song is at the halfway point from tying the record for the most weeks spent at the top spot on there. But again I don't think it's ever going to happen. But let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Alex Warren - Before You Leave Me: I'm pleased to see this song come back on there. I actually didn't expect it to happen, but I'm glad that it actually managed to be back. Now, let's see if this should have another chance to be on the countdown soon.
Meghan Trainor/T-Pain - Been Like This: This is absolutely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Made You Look. And of course we actually haven't heard from T-Pain on there since 2012 even though it's not his song but he was featured in this song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Meghan's vocals were so incredible, T-Pain's vocals were so remarkable in her contribution, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Nicky Youre - Part Time Lover: We've now picked up a new single from him after S.A.D. dropped out of Hit Bound last week. Though I wasn't happy to see S.A.D. drop out of here, but this new song was actually a step up from it. This is definitely another phenomenal song. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Nicky's vocals were so marvelous, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Zayn - What I Am: After Love Like This only spent 1 week on the countdown last year, we've now picked up a new song from him this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Love Like This. With my opinion, the production was so unstoppable, Zayn's vocals were super phenomenal, then lyrics were so nicely-written, and I really enjoyed the chorus. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
Kenya Grace - It's Not Fair: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Though I'm still waiting for Strangers to get to the Top 5, but in the meantime, as far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Strangers, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Kenya's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should make the countdown soon.
Haiden Henderson - Hell Of A Good Time: Gosh, Hits 1 sure has been picking up some random new artists recently. And he actually doesn't have an artist description on Spotify yet so I don't have the information about him. But as far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Haiden's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
