#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Latto/Lu Kala - Lottery (1st and only week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Dua Lipa - Illusion (+8) take the biggest jump into the Top 10. It really deserves it! What an amazing week for her! Now, let's see if this should go to the Top 5 soon.

Well I actually expected Knox - Not The 1975 (-5) to drop out of the Top 5. But now it took the biggest drop this week. And I'm sure it's about to be on it's way out of here.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Artemas - I Like The Way You Kiss Me: I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. And now he has his first ever countdown appearance this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, Artemas's vocals were super remarkable, the lyrics were very nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this one goes on there.

Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy): The best countdown debut this week. I've been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. And now, he has made his first ever countdown appearance this week. And what I've noticed about this song is that it actually samples J-Kwon's 2004 single Tipsy, which was super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Shaboozey's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly and super fun. Let's see how far this goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Benson Boone - Beautiful Things: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a nice run in there for a couple weeks. Though I'd like to see it stay in the Top 5 for at least a few more weeks and then be out of here.

4. Sabrina Carpenter - Feather: I actually didn't expect this song to come back to the Top 5. But I'm pleased to see it do that. But I don't think this song is ever gonna come back to the Top 3.

3. Olivia Rodrigo - Obsessed: This has also re-entered the Top 5 this week, and now it's in the Top 3 which I'm so pleased to see. Now, hopefully this should get to the top spot soon.

2. Ariana Grande - We Can't Be Friends (Wait For Your Love): Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot. Though I really like this song to stay in the Top 3 for a while at the very least.

1. Hozier - Too Sweet: I'm super duper pleased to see this song at the top spot. This totally deserves to be in there! And I'd really like it to stay in there for a while at the very least. Let's see how long it'll hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Lay Bankz - Tell Ur Girlfriend

2. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: So it looks like he must be starting to do country music, so...... ok I guess? At least he decided to try a new genre instead of that crappy hip-hop music. I actually gave this song a listen on The Highway to see if he would actually sound better in country music and... I guess he sounds a little better, but he still doesn't have a good voice. As far as the song goes, it's just a decent song. With my opinion on this song, the production was actually so amazing, but Post's vocals still don't sound that good but they're not awful like in his other songs. But Morgan's vocals were actually super amazing in his contribution and the chorus was still so phenomenal and the lyrics were still very nicely-written. But this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Alec Benjamin/Khalid - Ways To Go: So he just released his album 12 Notes, and now we have one of the songs from it making it's debut on there. But I gotta say, this is also a decent song. At least it's not mediocre like in a lot of his songs because he collaborated with an artist that I liked. But there's still nothing interesting to say about it. Though Alec's vocals still sound so bad because he still has that childish voice, but Khalid's vocals were actually super amazing in his contribution and the production was still so amazing and the chorus was decent. But the lyrics were still nicely-written, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is another decent song overall. Let's see if this will be on the countdown soon.

RM - Come Back To Me: Oh boy... we have the rapper from BTS making his solo debut on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a garbage song. I really have no idea what's going on with this song, but this is just not a good song for me. The production was so bad, RM's vocals were so awful, and my gosh that chorus was absolutely garbage. But the lyrics were still interesting, so I'm definitely still giving credit to them. But this is a garbage song overall. Also, I've noticed that the radio edit is 4 minutes long and the original is 6 1/2 minutes long which made it worse. Gosh, I seriously cannot listen to a crappy song for that long. That will definitely be a nightmare for me. Can we please not let this song make it to the countdown?

Jax/Hardy - Zombieland: She is back for the first time since Cinderella Snapped last year. Gosh, I've actually been waiting for her to come back on there and now she has finally managed to do it. Also, I've noticed that Chelsea from the Victoria's Secret music video (yes, the girl who she babysat with.) played as Noa from Season 8 of that show on Brat TV called Mani, which was a show that I really enjoyed. In fact, I've actually been watching this show ever since it premiered a few weeks before I started blogging because I know that Hayley LeBlanc of Bratayley and Piper Rockelle were the stars of that show back then. I thought those two and other famous YouTube stars did an amazing job on acting on that show. But that's not we're talking about, we're gonna talk about this new song. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Cinderella Snapped. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, both Jax and Hardy sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll make the countdown soon.

Marshmello/Kane Brown - Miles On It: They have collaborated for the first time since One Thing Right back in 2019, and of course that was a song that I enjoyed back then in case you're new here. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from One Thing Right. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Kane's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Camila Cabello/Lil Nas X - He Knows: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And I've noticed that she's got a new album later this year called C XOXO, which I'm so looking forward to. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Camila's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, the chorus was so heavenly, and Lil Nas X's vocals in his verse actually doesn't sound bad here. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

The Chainsmokers - No Shade At Pitti: So they have released a new EP No Hard Feelings, and now they replace themselves on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Friday, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was super amazing, Andrew's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Teddy Swims - Hammer To The Heart: He also replaces himself on there this week. And I've noticed that Hits 1 has realized what the actual single was which was so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as Apple Juice, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Teddy's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
