Sabrina Carpenter (2) Week Of April 6, 2024

So the month of April is now upon us and we are now officially in the second quarter of the year. I feel like the first quarter of the year has been super amazing with music. #1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Tiesto/Tate McRae - 10:35 (3 of 6 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Shinedown - A Symptom Of Being Human (+16) take the biggest jump. Maybe it's because it's their big return on there or something. This really deserves to take it! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 10 soon.

I'm not too thrilled about Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now (-4) taking a short biggest drop out of the Top 10. This totally doesn't deserve that! But I'm sure it's going to be the end of it.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Benson Boone - Slow It Down: Looks like he was trying to use the same formula he used on Beautiful Things with this new song. And now, this song has joined Beautiful Things on the countdown this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Beautiful Things by a little bit, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Benson's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.

Olivia Rodrigo - So American: Huh. Another song from her making it's debut on there after Obsessed debuted last week? Super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Obsessed. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Olivia's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Hozier - Too Sweet: The best countdown debut this week. And he has finally made his first countdown appearance since Someone New back in 2015 which was super amazing. And of course I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song and this was actually the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a huge step up from all of his other songs. With my opinion on this song, the production was so heavenly, Hozier's vocals were super heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year. Hopefully this should do amazing on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Tate McRae - Exes: I'm not really happy about this song moving down, but I do have a feeling that this song is about to be out of here very soon.

4. Benson Boone - Beautiful Things: I'm glad that this song is moving back up. Now, can we please let this song get back to the Top 3 very soon?

3. Dua Lipa - Houdini: I actually did not expect this song to move down. But at least it's still in the Top 3, but I'm sure it's going to stay in the Top 3 for a little while.

2. Knox - Not The 1975: It's almost at the top spot! Though I actually did not expect this song to move up and get to that spot. But I'm sure it's definitely not going to be at the top spot, but let's see if it actually does soon.

1. Sabrina Carpenter - Feather: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm so pleased to see this song still at that spot. It sure has been getting popular on there. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

David Guetta/OneRepublic - I Don't Wanna Wait: What I've noticed about this song is that this song actually samples the meme song Dragostea Din Tei, just like what T.I. did with Live Your Life back in 2008. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Ryan's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was super heavenly.
