Sabrina Carpenter (3) Week Of July 6, 2024
As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks super amazing, although we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year which of course will forever be missed as always, but we do have some more amazing debuts this week, but I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Jonas Brothers - Waffle House (1 of 3 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm fine with Billie Eilish - Lunch (+12) taking the biggest jump to the Top 10 this week. I'll still give credit to that. But I'm not sure if it'll go to the Top 5, but let's see if it does soon.
I'm not too thrilled about Olivia Rodrigo - So American (-10) taking the biggest drop out of the Top 10. This does not deserve that! But I do have a feeling that it might be out of here soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Crash Adams - Hotel Party: It's definitely a phenomenal and fun bop and it actually reminds me of Kissing Strangers by DNCE and Nicki Minaj, in which Zestpond compared this song to that last week when it debuted Hit Bound. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, the vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so epic, and the chorus was so heavenly and fun. Hopefully this should become a hit on there.
Camila Cabello/Drake - Hot Uptown: The best countdown debut this week. So she has dropped CXOXO last week, and now we have another one of the songs from the album debuting on there this week, replacing He Knows. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song and it's actually a step up from He Knows. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, both Camila and Drake sound so heavenly, the lyrics were super duper nicely-written, and the chorus was super heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.
Knox - Treadmill: He's now back on there after Me Myself & Your Eyes left last week. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Change Your Mind. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Knox's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this one should go on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Eminem - Houdini: Gosh, when is it going to move up and get to the Top 3? This shouldn't just stand there! But hopefully it'll move up next week.
4. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: I'm still fine with this song still in the Top 5, but again I'm sure this is going to be out of here soon. I don't think it's ever going to hit the top spot on there.
3. Dua Lipa - Illusion: I'm pleased that it's still in the Top 3, but again I'm sure this song is going to be out of here and out of the Top 5 very soon. But it still had a nice time in there though.
2. Hozier - Too Sweet: Yeah I'd really like this song to stay in the Top 3 for at least a few more weeks. I know I said it because of how well it did at the top spot. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.
1. Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso: Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. Gosh, this song sure has been doing so well on there lately. I'm super pleased that it's still at the top spot. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. KATSEYE - Debut
2. Alex Warren - Carry You Home (DEBUT)
3. Moneybagg Yo/Morgan Wallen - Whiskey Whiskey (DEBUT)
4. Kesha - Joyride (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Alex Warren - Carry You Home: I've noticed that he got married pretty recently and he wrote this song for his now wife a few weeks leading up to their wedding, which was so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually on the same level as Before You Leave Me because this is apparently Before You Leave Me 2.0. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Alex's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Moneybagg Yo/Morgan Wallen - Whiskey Whiskey: This is yet another decent song. I know it's because Moneybagg Yo has been having lots of bad songs and I pretty much reviewed some of them in my Bottom 10 Songs of the year about a few years ago. And now here he is on Hits 1. For this song, it's decent. The production still sounds so amazing, but Moneybagg Yo's vocals don't sound good especially in his flow. But Morgan's vocals still sound super amazing and the chorus was solid and the lyrics were still interesting, so I'll still give credit to them. But this is decent overall. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
Kesha - Joyride: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. We've now picked up a new single from her after Only Love Can Save Us Now dropped out of here last year. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Only Love Can Save Us Now. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Kesha's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should make the countdown soon.
