#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Rema/Selena Gomez - Calm Down (3rd and final week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us (+7) has been gaining some airplay this week. I'm so pleased to see it take the biggest jump. What a week for him! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 20 soon.
I'm not too thrilled to see Muni Long - Made For Me take the biggest drop. This doesn't deserve it! But what's also tied for the biggest drop is Noah Kahan - Stick Season which I'm also not thrilled to see, and Bibi/Jackson Wang - Feeling Lucky (-5), which I'm actually okay with. Though I'm sure they're all going to be out of here very soon.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Pitbull/Ne-Yo/Afrojack - 2 The Moon: So they've all collaborated again after Give Me Everything became a hit back in 2011. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Give Me Everything, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Pitbull's rapping in the verses was super phenomenal and he flows very nicely here, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and Ne-Yo's vocals in the chorus were so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.
Katy Perry - Woman's World: The best debut this week. She has made her return on there for the first time since When I'm Gone with Alesso 2 years ago and that was in my Top 10 Songs of 2022 in case you remember. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. Though definitely not as good as When I'm Gone, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Katy's vocals were super incredible, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy): I'm still waiting for this song to move up and get to the Top 3. But hopefully it'll be in there within the next week or so.
4. Tommy Richman - MILLION DOLLAR BABY: Yeah I don't think this song is going to hit the top spot. But maybe it might stay in the Top 5 for at least a couple more weeks and then be out of here.
3. Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a super amazing run in there for a few weeks. But I'd like it to stay in the Top 3 for a few more weeks or so.
2. Hozier - Too Sweet: I'm so pleased to see this song back in the Top 3. But again I don't think this song is ever coming back to the top spot, but I'd like it to stay in there for at least a few more weeks and then be out of here.
1. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: I'm fine with this song at the top spot. And this was actually his first ever country song to hit the top spot on there, which was actually a good thing even though it's still not a good song for me. But I'll still give credit to this song for being there. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
