Post Malone (1) Week Of August 24, 2024
As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, although we do have another brand new decent #1 song on there which wasn't that good, but we do have some more interesting debuts this week, but I'm gonna get to them later on in this post like always. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 30, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so glad to see Shawn Mendes - Why Why Why (+5) take the biggest jump. It deserves to gain some airplay! What a week for him! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 20 soon.
I don't know why Tommy Richman - MILLION DOLLAR BABY (-6) took the biggest drop as it's continuing to doing so well everywhere else, but this does not deserve to take it! But I have a feeling that this might be out of here sometime soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Khalid - Heatstroke: He has made his return on there after a couple years off of making new music. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. But definitely not as good as Skyline, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Khalid's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were very interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.
Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: The best countdown debut this week. I've also noticed that those two haven't collaborated since last week even though they've been around since the late 2000's/early 2010's. But now here they are. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, both Gaga and Bruno sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.
Myles Smith - Stargazing: I'm so pleased to see this song come back to the countdown. I've actually been waiting for this to happen after it left a couple weeks ago, and now it has managed to do it. Now, let's see how this one does on it's second run on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy): It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a very nice run in there for a few weeks. But I'm sure this might drop out of the Top 5 very soon.
4. Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe!: Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot. But I'm sure this might drop out of here very soon as well.
3. Teddy Swims - The Door: I'm so pleased to see this song in the Top 3. Now, can we please let this song be his first ever #1 song on there? Hopefully it'll do it soon.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please: I'm pleased to see this song back at that spot, but again I'm not sure if it'll be at the top spot. But hopefully it should do it soon.
1. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: This has now become his first ever country song to hit the top spot and his first #1 song on there since Circles back in 2020. But I'm fine with this song at the top spot. I'm still gonna give credit to that. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Jessie Murph/Teddy Swims - Dirty
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste (DEBUT)
3. Kesha - Joyride
4. Beabadoobee - Beaches

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: So she has released her new album Short n' Sweet, and now since Please Please Please hit the Top 3 on the countdown, we've now picked up a new single from her. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Please Please Please. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Sabrina's vocals were super incredible, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
Coldplay/Little Simz/Burna Boy/Elyanna/TINI - We Pray: This was actually Little Simz, Elyanna and TINI's debut on Hits 1 because they actually never had a single on there before. But as far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Feelslikeimfallinginlove, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, all of them sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were so remarkable, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should be on the countdown soon.
Jimin - Who: Of course you all might remember him when he had that Hit Bound dropout last year called Angel Pt. 2, which was a song that I've actually enjoyed back then, but not Pt. 1 even though it was decent. But now here has his first solo appearance on there. As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Jimin's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Koe Wetzel/Jessie Murph - High Road: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. I've been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. Also, if you guys remembered, he also had a Hit Bound dropout last year called Wasted with Diplo and Kodak Black, and that was a song that I hated back then. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song and it's definitely a huge step up from Wasted. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Koe's vocals were so heavenly and so much better, Jessie's vocals in the second verse were pretty heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Here's to hoping that this will make the countdown soon.
Tinashe - Nasty: Finally it's time for Hits 1 to pick up this song! Gosh, this song sure has been charting for over a month. And it's actually been quite a while since we last heard from her. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Tinashe's vocals were unstoppable, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
