#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Jonas Brothers - Waffle House (3rd and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so glad to see Mark Ambor - Belong Together (+13) take the biggest jump. What a week it has been for him on there! Now, hopefully this should be in the Top 10 soon.

I'm okay with Billie Eilish - Lunch (-13) taking the biggest drop. I'll definitely take it. But I'm sure this is definitely going to be the end of it.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Katy Perry - Woman's World: She has made her big return on there as a solo artist and her first countdown appearance since When I'm Gone with Alesso 2 years ago which was in my Top 10 Songs of 2022 in case you remember. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as When I'm Gone, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Katy's vocals were super incredible, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll do well on there.

The Kid Laroi - Girls: This is yet another decent song. Though I could say that this wasn't as decent as Too Much, but it's still decent. There really isn't anything interesting to say about it. Though the production still sounds amazing here, but once again Laroi's vocals don't sound good here. But the chorus was decent and the lyrics were still so nicely-written, so I'll still give credit to that. But this is a decent song overall. Let's see how this one does on there.

Myles Smith - Stargazing: He has now made his first ever countdown appearance on there this week. And fun fact: This song debuted the Hot 100 the same week as it debuted Hit Bound. Interesting, huh? Anyway. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Myles's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Dua Lipa - Illusion: It dropped out of the Top 3 this week which I actually expected to happen. And I'm sure this is going to be out of the Top 5 within the next week or so.

4. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: Yeah I don't think this song is ever coming back to the Top 3. I'm sure this might be out of here very soon.

3. Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe!: I'm so pleased to see this song in the Top 3. She now has her first ever Top 3 song on there, but can this be her first ever #1 song? We're gonna have to find out. But I'm not sure if it'll happen though, but hopefully it does soon.

2. Hozier - Too Sweet: Gosh, this song sure has been enjoying the Top 3 on there. I know it's because of how well it did at the top spot. But I'd like it to stay in there for at least a couple more weeks or so.

1. Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. Gosh, how in the world is this song been doing on there? I have a feeling that it might end up being as her biggest hit in her career. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Joe Jonas - Work It Out: This is actually his first solo song in 13 years and his first after being from DNCE, which was actually super interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Joe's vocals were super remarkable, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Gracie Abrams - I Love You, I'm Sorry: She replaces herself on there this week. Though I actually wish that Us would be on the countdown, but as far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Us. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Gracie's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it will make the countdown soon.

Benson Boone - Death Wish Love: This was actually one of the songs that was taken from the soundtrack for the new Twisters movie, which I've actually seen in theaters. It was an awesome movie. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as Slow It Down, but it's still amazing. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Benson's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were very nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Charli XCX - Apple: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. We've now picked up a new single from her since her album Brat is currently doing so well recently. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. But definitely not as good as 360, but it's still heavenly. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Charli's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown very soon.

Paul Russell/Meghan Trainor - Slippin': This is absolutely a phenomenal and fun song and it's actually a step up from Say Cheese. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Paul's vocals were super marvelous and Meghan's vocals actually sound so heavenly in her contribution. And the lyrics were so interesting and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should be on the countdown soon.

Hayes Warner - Predator: So they just picked up an unreleased song from her, which was actually so weird. We're actually branding this a "Hits 1 exclusive" and playing it on there when it's not streaming on any platforms. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Just A Girl, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was super amazing, Hayes's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. But I'm not sure if it'll actually be on the countdown since it wasn't streaming anywhere, but let's see if it does soon.

Alessia Cara - Dead Man: She has made her return on there in 2 years after that decent Only You with Eddie Benjamin. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely a step up from Only You. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal and I really love the trumpet part on it, Alessia's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Here's to hoping that it should be on the countdown soon.
