#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer (1 of 6 weeks at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm super duper pleased to see Charli XCX - 360 (+9) take the biggest jump to the Top 15. This totally deserves to take it! What a week for her! Now, hopefully it'll be in the Top 10 very soon.
Madison Beer - Make You Mine (-4) took a short biggest drop this week which I'm not that thrilled to see. But I'm sure this might be out of here sometime soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Megan Thee Stallion/Yuki Chiba - Mamushi: So she has collaborated with a Japanese rapper which was so interesting. And I've also noticed that this song has been going viral on TikTok lately, which I think was amazing because as far as the song goes, it's definitely phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, both Megan and Yuki sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were so nicely-written even though I don't understand the Japanese lyrics in it, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.
Shawn Mendes - Why Why Why: He has finally made his return on the countdown since When You're Gone back in 2022. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from What The Hell Are We Dying For. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Shawn's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nice, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this gets on there.
Charli XCX/Billie Eilish - Guess: She actually has 2 songs that made it's debut on there this week. Let's start with this one. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Apple (which I'll get to later), but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Charli's vocals were super phenomenal and Billie doesn't actually sound bad here, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this one goes on there.
Machine Gun Kelly/Jelly Roll - Lonely Road: What I've noticed about this song is that it actually samples John Denver's 1971 hit song Take Me Home, Country Roads, which I think is so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely an amazing song. With my opinion, the production from Travis Barker was so amazing, both MGK and Jelly Roll sound super amazing, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus and samples were so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.
Charli XCX - Apple: The best countdown debut this week. And here's the second of her debuts this week. I know her album Brat is doing super well recently so that's why we have 2 songs from it debuting on there this week. As far as this song goes, it's definitely another heavenly song and it's definitely a step up from Guess, but still not as good as 360. With my opinion on this song, the production was super phenomenal, Charli's vocals were so heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do amazing on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Teddy Swims - The Door: Gosh, when is this song going to move up and get to the Top 3? This shouldn't just stand there, this should be moving up. But hopefully it'll move up next week.
4. Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please: Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot. But maybe it might stay in the Top 5 for a couple more weeks and then be out of here.
3. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: Again I'm still fine with it still being in the Top 3. But like what I said I'm sure this is going to be out of here very soon.
2. Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe!: It's almost at the top spot! But again I don't think this song is ever going to be in there, but I'm sure hoping that this should be her first ever #1 song on there very soon.
1. Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy): Holding the top spot for the 3rd week in a row. Gosh, this song sure has been doing super well recently. But I'm sure another song might take over the top spot within the next week or so, but let's see if it'll stay in there or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:
1. Beabadoobee - Beaches
2. Post Malone - What Don't Belong To Me (DEBUT)

15. Dasha - Didn't I
16. Role Model - Scumbag
New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Post Malone - What Don't Belong To Me: Of course you guys thought I was going to hate this song because it's a solo single from him. But this is actually a country song, and his country music doesn't actually sound that bad. This is just another decent song for me. The production still sounds so amazing here, but of course Post's vocals still don't sound good. But I could say that the chorus was decent and the lyrics were still so nicely-written, I'm definitely still giving credit to them. But this is another decent country song from him. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: They actually haven't collaborated since yesterday even though they've been around since the late 2000's/early 2010's. But now here they are. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, both Gaga and Bruno sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Halsey - Lonely Is The Muse: We now have a third single from her upcoming album debuting on there this week. Gosh, I'm so looking forward to see the release of her album. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Lucky, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Halsey's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if it'll make the countdown soon.
Henry Moodie - Right Person, Wrong Time: He's back in there after Bad Emotions dropped out of here last month. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song and it's actually a step up from Bad Emotions. With my opinion on this one, the production was so amazing, Henry's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
Benson Boone - Pretty Slowly: After Death Wish Love dropped out of here last week, we've now picked up a new single from him. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. Though definitely not as good as Death Wish Love, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, Benson's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nice, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.
Andy Grammar/Maddie & Tae - I Do: It's been 5 years since we last heard from him. His previous song in there was Don't Give Up On Me back in 2019, and that was a decent song for me in case you don't know. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely a step up from Don't Give Up On Me and (G)I-DLE's song of the same title. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, both Andy and Maddie sound super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.
Hozier - Nobody's Soldier: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Since Too Sweet left the countdown and for doing super well on there, we now have a new single from him debuting on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Too Sweet, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Hozier's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.
