#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:
SZA - Snooze (1st and only week at #1)
This Week's Mover and Shaker:
Addison Rae - Diet Pepsi and Gracie Abrams - Close To You (+5) took the biggest jumps since they're gaining airplay throughout the week. I'm so pleased to see them both do that!
I'm not too thrilled to see Halsey - Ego take the biggest drop. This does not deserve to take it! But what's also tied for the biggest drop was Benson Boone - Slow It Down (-5), which I'm actually okay with because I know it's been there for so long and it has been losing some airplay recently.
New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:
Katy Perry/Doechii - I'm His, He's Mine: The best debut this week. She's now officially back on there after Woman's World flopped and did not do so well on there. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Woman's World, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Katy's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, the chorus was so heavenly, and Doechii's vocals in her verse were super incredible. Hopefully this should do well on there.
Kesha - Joyride: It's actually been quite a while since she's last been on there. And now she's finally back. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Only Love Can Save Us Now. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Kesha's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Hozier - Too Sweet: Wow, I actually did not expect this song to be back in the Top 5, but I'm super pleased to see it do that. But I'm sure this is definitely not coming back to the Top 3.
4. Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please: It dropped out of the Top 3 which I actually expected to happen. Though I'm, sure this is about to be on it's way out of here.
3. Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy): I totally did not expect this song to come back to the Top 3. But I'm glad that it's actually back. But again I'm sure this is going to drop back out of here very soon.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso: Gosh, this song sure doesn't want to leave the Top 3. I know this song has been getting super popular on the pop radio charts. But I'm sure this is going to be out of here sometime soon.
1. Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather: Holding the top spot for the 5th week in a row. Gosh, what is going on with this song recently? It really has been doing super well on there. But again I'm okay with this song still being in there. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
