#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Tate McRae - Greedy (1 of 11 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

Jelly Roll - I Am Not Okay took the biggest jump for the second week in a row which I'm again pleased to see. And what's also tied for the biggest jump was Halsey - Ego (+10), as it has now jumped to the Top 10 and almost in the Top 5. I'm so pleased to see it do that as well and I'm sure hoping that it should go to the Top 5 very soon.

I'm not really that thrilled to see Katy Perry/Doechii - I'm His, He's Mine take a short biggest drop. I don't know why it would do that, but it does not deserve to take it! But what's also tied for the biggest drop this week was Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe! and Dasha - Austin (-4), as they are starting to lose airplay which I'm actually fine with because I know they've been on there for a long time. But I'm sure they're going to be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Charli XCX/Ariana Grande - Sympathy Is A Knife (Remix): This is our only debut this week. And of course this is another random song that hasn't been pushed to pop radio yet. But this is the remix with Ariana which is actually so phenomenal. Although I haven't listened to the original version of it, but it looks like I'm gonna have to do it. But as far as the remix goes, it's definitely phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, both Charli and Ariana sound super incredible, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.

Machine Gun Kelly/Jelly Roll - Lonely Road: I'm so glad to see this song come back on there. Although I actually didn't expect it to happen, but I do know it has been doing well on there lately. Now, let's see how this one does on it's second run on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Gracie Abrams - Close To You: I actually didn't expect this song to be in the Top 5, but I'm so pleased to see it in there. And this is actually her first ever Top 5 song on there which was actually pretty awesome. Although I'm not sure if it'll go to the Top 3, but let's see if it does.

4. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: I'm fine with this song still holding that spot, but again I'm sure this is going to be out of the Top 5 very soon.

3. Chappell Roan - Hot To Go!: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a very nice run in there. But I'd like it to stay in the Top 5 for at least a few more weeks and then be out of here Let's see how long it'll remain in there.

2. Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather: Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot. But I'm sure this might drop out of here sometime soon.

1. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: I'm so pleased to see this song in the top spot. Gosh, nothing can really stop her from getting so popular on there. This deserves to be in there! Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

2. Rose/Bruno Mars - APT. (DEBUT)

3. Ava Max - Spot A Fake

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Rose/Bruno Mars - APT.: Of course you might remember when she had that Hit Bound dropout called On The Ground back in 2021, and that was a song that I really enjoyed back then. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from On The Ground. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, both Rose and Bruno sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully it'll be on the countdown soon.

Gracie Abrams - That's So True: Since Close To You hit the Top 5 on the countdown this week, we now have a new single from her debuting on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Close To You. With my opinion on it, the production was so incredible, Gracie's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this will be on the countdown soon.

David Guetta/Alphaville/Ava Max - Forever Young: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. And I've also found out that this song actually samples Alphaville's own song from 1984 with that same title, just like what Jay-Z and Mr. Hudson did with Young Forever back in 2010. To me, this was actually the best thing about it. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so heavenly, Ava's vocals were pretty heavenly, Marian Gold's (the lead singer of Alphaville) vocals were extremely heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus and samples were extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year when it makes the countdown. Hopefully this should make it in there very soon.

Morgan Wallen - Love Somebody: I've been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. And I know it has been doing so well on the country radio charts recently so that's why it's here. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song and it's actually a step up from Cowgirls. With my opinion, the production was so amazing, Morgan's vocals were so remarkable, the lyrics were so nicely-written, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Gigi Perez - Sailor Song: I've noticed that this song has been doing well on streaming lately as well as on the Hot 100, so yeah it's time for this song to be on there and for her to make her first ever appearance on there. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Gigi's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were pretty nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should be on the countdown soon.

Lawrence - Whatcha Want: I'm so pleased to see this song come back on there. I think it did that because it's doing something on mediabase right now so hopefully it'll have another chance to be on the countdown soon.
