AT40: Lady Gaga (1) Week Of December 7, 2024

So the month of December is now officially here and that means we only have 1 more moth left of the year. Gosh, time sure does fly by so fast. Also, my birthday is coming up on Wednesday. I'm gonna be turning 22. Gosh, I feel like I'm getting old. Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so interesting, although we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year, and of course it will forever be missed. But we do have another brand new #1 song on there, which was always a nice thing to see. But I'm gonna get to that later on in this post like always. Akon - Akon's Beautiful Day took the biggest jump for the second week in a row which was super amazing. And what's also tied for the biggest jump was Rose/Bruno Mars - APT. (+5) as it entered the Top 20 this week which I'm also pleased to see. They both deserve to take them!

I actually expected Dasha - Austin and Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help to take the biggest drops this week since they have been losing some airplay recently. But what's also tied for the biggest drop was Chappell Roan - Hot To Go! (-4), which I wasn't too thrilled to see. Why would it do that? But I'm sure they're about to be on their way out of here.

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

Damiano David - Born With A Broken Heart: Well thank goodness they didn't pick up on Silverlines with Labrinth because that song sucked. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely way better than Silverlines. With my opinion on it, the production was super amazing, Damiano's vocals were so phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see how far this one gets on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Taylor Swift - I Can Do It With A Broken Heart: I'm so pleased to see this song in the Top 5. This totally deserves to be in there! And I'm really hoping that it should be in the Top 3 very soon.

4. Hozier - Too Sweet: It dropped out of the top spot again. But it still had another amazing time in there. But I'm sure this is going to be out of the Top 5 very soon.

3. Myles Smith - Stargazing: I'm so glad to see this song in the Top 3. Though I'm not sure if it'll go to the top spot, but let's see if it does soon.

2. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: It's almost at the top spot! And I'm sure this is going to be in there within the next week or so. Hopefully I'm right.

1. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. Gosh, she hasn't had a #1 song on there in a while so it's nice to see her back in there. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.
