#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Dua Lipa - Houdini (4 of 8 weeks at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (+12) take the biggest jump to the Top 10. This totally deserves it! What a week it has been for her! Now, hopefully it'll be in the Top 5 very soon.

I'm really not too thrilled to see Gigi Perez - Sailor Song (-12) take the biggest drop all the way out of the Top 20 from the Top 10. Not cool, Hits 1. Not cool at all! This does not deserve to take it! But I'm sure this is going to be the end of it.

New Song/s on the countdown this week are:

Griff - Last Night's Mascara: This is the only debut that we have on there this week. I've actually heard a couple of her songs before this song came out and I thought there were so amazing. And now, she has made her first ever countdown appearance after being in the abyss for a month. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Griff's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.

The Weeknd/Playboi Carti - Timeless: I'm pleased to see this song come back to the countdown. I actually expected it to happen since it has been getting some spins on there this week. Now, let's see how this one does on it's second run in there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Gracie Abrams - That's So True: I'm pleased to see this song back in the Top 5. This really deserves to be back in there. Now, can we please let this song move up and get to the Top 3 this time?

4. Sabrina Carpenter - Bed Chem: Gosh, when is this song going to be in the Top 3? This seriously needs to gain more airplay more spins next week and then get in there. Hopefully it'll do it.

3. Rose/Bruno Mars - APT.: It dropped out of the top spot. But it still had a phenomenal run in there. Though I'm sure this is going to stay in the Top 3 for a while because of how well it did at the top spot on there.

2. Lady Gaga/Bruno Mars - Die With A Smile: I actually didn't expect this song to move back up to this spot. But again I'm sure it's going to be out of here within the next week or so. I know it has been in the Top 3 for a while.

1. Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club: I'm so pleased to see this song at the top spot. And now, she has gone 3 for 3 with #1 songs on there which was actually pretty amazing. Gosh, I feel like she's starting to get so popular on there. Now, let's see how long it'll hold the spot.

Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

1. Alex Warren - Ordinary

2. Tate McRae - Revolving Door (DEBUT)

3. Justice/Tame Impala - Neverender

4. Selena Gomez/Benny Blanco/Gracie Abrams - Call Me When You Break Up (DEBUT)

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:

Tate McRae - Revolving Door: So she has released her new album So Close To What, and now we have another one of the songs from it debuting on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Sports Car, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Tate's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Selena Gomez/Benny Blanco/Gracie Abrams - Call Me When You Break Up: They replace themselves on there this week thankfully. Good riddance to Scared Of Loving You because that song sucked. It totally deserves to leave! And now we have a much better song from them debuting on there this week which was always an amazing thing. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's definitely way better than Scared Of Loving You. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Selena's vocals were super phenomenal, Gracie's vocals were super incredible in her contribution, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this will make the countdown soon.

Dove Cameron - Too Much: We haven't heard anything from her on there for a year. But I gotta say, this is just a decent song. There's really not much interesting to say about it. Though the production and the beat here still sounds so phenomenal, but I still don't like her voice. She still doesn't sound that good here. But the chorus sounds decent and I don't really mind the lyrics here because I think they're still very nicely-written. But yeah, this is decent overall. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.

Avery Anna - Mr. Predictable: I've been hearing this song a lot on The Highway. And of course you might remember when she had that Hit Bound dropout back in 2022 called Narcissist, and that was a song that I really enjoyed back then. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Narcissist. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Avery's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Hopefully this should make the countdown soon.

Jennie/Doechii - ExtraL: She also replaced herself on there this week. Of course she's continuing to release new singles from her upcoming album which was actually so interesting. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Love Hangover. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Jennie's vocals were super incredible, the lyrics were super interesting, the chorus was so heavenly, and Doechii's vocals in her verse were so unstoppable. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Brenn! - Franklin House: This is also a decent song. There really isn't that much interesting to say about it. Though the production still sounds so amazing here, but Brenn's vocals do not sound good. I actually found this guy's voice not being so good when I gave it a first listen. But the chorus was decent and I think the lyrics were still so interesting, so I'm still giving credit to that. But this is decent overall. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Ashley Cooke/Joe Jonas - All I Forgot: I've actually heard some of her other songs on The Highway and I thought they were so amazing. And now she has made her first ever appearance on there this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, both Ashley and Joe sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should be on the countdown soon.

Nessa Barrett - Love Looks Pretty On You: I actually didn't expect this song to come back on there, but I'm actually so pleased to see that. Now, hopefully this should have another chance to be on the countdown soon.

Role Model - Sally, When The Wine Runs Out: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. Finally we have a song from him that I really love. Of course I've been hating his other songs that were on there back then, but this song isn't actually bad. And of course I've been hearing this song a lot on Alt Nation. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a heavenly song and it's definitely the best song that I've ever heard from him. It's definitely a humongous step up from all of his other songs. With my opinion on this song, the production was so heavenly, Role Model's vocals were super heavenly and so much better, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was extremely heavenly. This is definitely going to end up in my Top 10 Songs of the year when it makes the countdown. Hopefully it'll be in there very soon.
