AT40: Miley Cyrus (6) Week Of April 8, 2023

As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it looks so phenomenal. We did get rid of another piece of trash, which was super amazing. And we also have some more interesting debuts this week, which of course I'll get to them later on in this post like what I always do. But other than that, I don't have anything else to say here, so let's get to it! Before we get to this week's Fresh 40, here are the songs dropping out of the countdown this week.

#1 Song This Week One Year Ago:

Lil Nas X - That's What I Want (3rd and final week at #1)

This Week's Mover and Shaker:

I'm so pleased to see PinkPantheress - Boy's A Liar (+6) taking the biggest jump into the Top 20. I actually didn't think it was going to be in there, but I'm glad it did.

Beyonce - Cuff It (-13) sure has been losing lots of airplay recently. And it has now dropped out of the Top 20 so I'm sure it's going to be out of here very soon.

New Song/s on the AT40 this week are:

Jax - Cinderella Snapped: Although I could say that this song is actually Victoria's Secret part 2, because it actually sounds very similar. Although this song wasn't as good as Victoria's Secret production-wise, but it's still an amazing song. The production still sounded so amazing here and Jax's vocals were actually super amazing here. And the lyrics were actually so interesting and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how this one does on there.

Halsey - Die 4 Me: The best debut this week. Although I actually remembered the one with her, Post Malone and Future from Hollywood's Bleeding, but this is actually her full version of this song. And of course I prefer this version over Post Malone's 100% because he was a terrible artist and she isn't. She's just absolutely a super talented singer to me. As far as the song goes, it's definitely a phenomenal song. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, Halsey's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a huge fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do well on there.

My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:

5. Taylor Swift - Lavender Haze: I'm so pleased to see this song debut the Top 5 this week. It totally deserves to be in there! And I'm sure hoping that it should go to the Top 3 soon.

4. The Weeknd - Die For You: Yeah I'm sure this song is going to spend a couple more weeks in there and then be out of here pretty soon. Let's see how long it'll remain in there.

3. SZA - Kill Bill: Again I'm pleased that it's still in the Top 3. And yes I'd like it to stay in the Top 3 for a few more weeks longer. Let's see how long it'll stay in there.

2. Metro Boomin/The Weeknd/21 Savage - Creepin': Gosh, this song sure has been hanging around at this spot for a while. But I'm sure it's going to be out of the Top 5 very soon. Maybe a few more weeks in the Top 3 and then be on it's way out of here.

1. Miley Cyrus - Flowers: Holding the top spot for the 6th week in a row. Wow, this song sure has been becoming super popular everywhere in the pop music world. Nothing can stop this song as of now. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
