Once again I hope everyone's been having an amazing Labor Day weekend! So far mine's been going well, I'm so looking forward to my final year in college next week. Hopefully it'll be the best one ever! I'm so looking forward to graduating from college. Hopefully it'll be a blast! Anyway. As far as the countdown goes, I thought that it still looks amazing, however we did get rid of a song that was going to be in my top songs of the year which of course it will forever be missed, but we do have some more phenomenal debuts this week. This Week's Mover and Shaker:
I'm so glad to see Khalid - Heatstroke (+8) take the biggest jumps for gaining some airplay this week. What a week for him! Now, let's see if it'll go to the Top 20 soon.
I'm not too thrilled to see Teddy Swims - The Door (-4) take a short biggest drop this week. Come on, this should've moved up and get to the top spot! But hopefully it'll be back in the Top 5 very soon.
New Song/s on the countdown this week are:
Coldplay/Little Simz/Burna Boy/Elyanna/TINI - We Pray: They are now back on the countdown after Feelslikeimfallinginlove flopped. Although I wasn't happy to see Feelslikeimfallinginlove flop, but as far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song. But definitely not as good as Feelslikeimfallinginlove, but it's still phenomenal. With my opinion, the production was so phenomenal, Chris, Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna and TINI's vocals all sound super phenomenal, the lyrics were so remarkable, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how far this goes on there.
Kesha - Joyride: She has finally made her return on there in 4 years since Raising Hell back in 2020. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Only Love Can Save Us Now. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Kesha's vocals were super phenomenal, I'm definitely a huge fan of the lyrics, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see how this one does on there.
Benson Boone - Pretty Slowly: This is actually our first Sunday Best since Not My Fault on Dec. 30, 2023 meaning it debuted on there but it's still on Hit Bound this week. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another amazing song. But definitely not as good as Death Wish Love, but it's still amazing. With my opinion on it, the production was so amazing, Benson's vocals were super amazing, the lyrics were so nice, and the chorus was so phenomenal. Let's see how far this gets on there.
Sabrina Carpenter - Taste: So she has released her new album Short n' Sweet, and now we have another single from her debuting on there since Please Please Please is in the Top 5. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Please Please Please. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Sabrina's vocals were super incredible, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. Let's see if this should do well on there.
Chappell Roan - Hot To Go!: The best countdown debut this week. Finally it's time for this song to make it's debut on there after spending 10 weeks in the abyss! As far as the song goes, it's absolutely a heavenly song and it's definitely a step up from Good Luck, Babe. With my opinion on this song, the cheerleader-style pop production was super phenomenal, Chappell's vocals were pretty heavenly, the lyrics were definitely what I'm a humongous fan of, and the chorus was super heavenly. Hopefully this should do amazing on there.
My Opinions/My Thoughts On The Top 5:
5. Billie Eilish - Birds Of A Feather: It debuted the Top 5 this week. I'm actually fine with that because it's just decent. Though I'm not sure if it'll go to the Top 3, but let's see if it will soon.
4. Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe!: I'm sure this song is going to be out of the Top 5 very soon since we now have Hot To Go debuting on there this week. But it still had a nice run in there though.
3. Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy): I'm pleased to see this song back in the Top 3, but I don't think this song is ever going to be back at the top spot. However this might drop back out of here very soon.
2. Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please: Yeah I don't think this song is ever going to hit the top spot on there. But I'm sure this might stay in the Top 3 for at least a few more weeks and then be out of here.
1. Post Malone/Morgan Wallen - I Had Some Help: Holding the top spot for the 2nd week in a row. I'm fine with this song still in there. But I know this song has also been doing so well on both pop and country charts recently. Now, let's see if it'll stay in there next week or not.
Now, let's review this week's Hit Bound:

New Song/s on Hit Bound this week are:
Myles Smith - Wait For You: This basically sounds like Stargazing but it's actually in a different key. As far as the song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a little bit of a step up from Stargazing. With my opinion on it, the production was so phenomenal, Myles's vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super nicely-written, and the chorus was so heavenly. And I'm sure this might debut the countdown when Stargazing hits the Top 10 or something. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
KATSEYE - Touch: We've now picked up a new single from them after Debut dropped out of here last month. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Debut. With my opinion on this song, the production was so phenomenal, the vocals were super phenomenal, the lyrics were super interesting, and the chorus was so heavenly and fun. Hopefully it will be on the countdown soon.
Addison Rae - Diet Pepsi: The best Hit Bound entrant this week. She has finally made her return on there after Obsessed dropped out of here back in 2021. As far as this new song goes, it's definitely another phenomenal song and it's actually a step up from Obsessed. With my opinion on this one, the production was so phenomenal, Addison's vocals were super incredible, the lyrics were so interesting, and the chorus was super phenomenal. Let's see if it'll be on the countdown soon.
